It has been so lovely to welcome students back after their exams and summer break, and to see so many happy faces as GCSE results were opened and celebrated this morning.
We are incredibly proud of every student and all they have achieved! From smiles and celebrations to happy tears, it has been a truly special day shared with students and their families.

It’s a bittersweet goodbye as we wish all our students every success for the next chapter, whether that’s university, an apprenticeship or their first steps into the world of work.

As we bring another fantastic academic year to a close, Wednesday’s Science Fair was a wonderful celebration of curiosity, hard work and scientific discovery.
An incredible 260 students spent over 36 hours preparing 93 projects, supported by 19 science staff and many colleagues across the school. As always, our Year 8 students took centre stage, confidently presenting their investigations and explaining their scientific findings to visitors and judges. Despite the hot weather, their enthusiasm, engagement and passion for science never wavered.

Our Year 7 students had a fantastic time this week taking part in interactive sessions delivered by using the new LEGO® Education Science kits!
Through hands-on challenges and investigations, students explored scientific concepts in a fun, engaging, and creative way. It was great to see so much enthusiasm, teamwork, and problem-solving on display as our students put their scientific thinking into practice.

Throwback to last Friday at Lilleshall 🏆
Our girls were phenomenal in the county finals, securing their county champions title with a stunning victory!
It certainly wasn’t a balmy summer evening, far from it. Battling strong winds and torrential rain, every player stepped up, worked incredibly hard, and truly made the most of their time on the pitch.
It’s been brilliant watching our students thrive through these finals, and we couldn’t be more proud 🔥

A huge well done to all three of our teams who competed on Monday at Lilleshall, kicking off this year’s County Cup Finals!
Our players showed incredible determination, battling not only some fierce opposition but also torrential rain 🌧️ True grit and teamwork on display! We’re pretty sure there are still a few coats and boots drying out from the day 😄
A big thank you to our amazing coaches for their passion and dedication, and to all the parents who came out to support in such challenging weather .
