We wanted to share a really positive story about our Willows home and a success that they have had with an amazing young person. The story is one of hope and resilience, but also of sadness for us and our wonderful Willows staff team, as we have recently had to say a tearful goodbye to one of our children who has been with us for 3 years.

Our Willows team threw an 18th Birthday party to say goodbye to her.
It was a fantastic day and she loved every minute of it! In the words of our Deputy Manager:

"She was very grateful and there have been some tears from 👧 and staff (happy and also sad this part of her journey has come to an end).

As we all know; 👧 has grown into a beautiful, smart and a much more confident person. She arrived, just a 15-year-old child with her own trauma, barriers, struggles, with little trust in the world and not knowing who she is/wants to become. We can proudly say she has overcome soo much from having crippling anxiety that consumed her, to becoming confident, speaking out for herself, passing GCSE's and is now in her 2nd year of college. Her outlook on life, adults and the world around her has changed for the better; 👧 has put the work in herself to be the most incredible young woman she is.

The team (all those that have come and gone and some which remain) can also carry pride in all we have achieved by helping HER to achieve a much more positive outcome (pun intended).

We can safely and proudly say; we have guided 👧 into adulthood and know she will go on and do great things! From tears and tantrums from not wanting to do things for herself… to now being completely capable and independent to face the world head on!"

We all wish our wonderful 👧 a great future and to continue on her own journey to success. We also want to congratulate our Willows staff team, this is truly what Positive Outcomes is about: Helping our children to heal and thrive!

We'd like to say a huge 'Welcome' to all the new members of the Positive Outcomes team!

Our image was taken from their recent training days at our HQ!

They are all amazing, bright, friendly and very caring individuals, so much so, that they even named our training manikin and included him in the team photo...so we now have a new member of Learning and Development: CPR Manikin Steve!

We are looking forward to working together to support and care for our young people and encourage and create opportunities for you within our expanding organisation.

A message from our Senior Manager

As I write this at 6.00am on a Sunday morning, I am smiling. I am smiling because when the world is busy, all of the above is taken for granted as "just what we do".

I am fortunate enough that for the first time ever I have found an organisation that meets my high expectations of culture, values and outcomes for children.

I sit on a senior leadership team of the best professionals that I have ever worked alongside and together we are formidable. A lot of things in any profession are tell tales signs of job satisfaction.

I believe the biggest to be how you feel about Monday, on Sunday! Are you sitting their smiling like I am, or are you dreading it?

If you want to be a part of this exciting adventure then please reach out, let's get that "Sunday smile back".

More amazing expansion news! We are very proud to announce, that we have received notification that 'Quarry' our brand new Shrewsbury based home has officially been granted registration!

We'd also like to congratulate our amazing Staff Team at 'Mill House' and our young person who has settled in amazingly well! He has just celebrated his 12th birthday, with the care team and his family. This was really positive, and they were all able to enjoy a day of him showing his family the beautiful views of the Long Mynd and all the wild horses.

Since residing with us at Mill house, he has stopped va**ng and has engaged in educational activities, including joining a boxing club that he attends twice weekly, and is loving it. He’s doing so well.

What a fantastic result, well done to our Young Person, Jeanna and the Team!
