October update from Strawberry patch 🍓

It’s that time of year again, children love using nature provided resources. We’ve used our conkers for counting, size sorting and sensory activities🍁🍂🍄🌾🐿

What a great start to the new term.
It’s been great to hear so many stories about their holiday experiences “How they got there?” “What foods they enjoyed eating?” And “ What treasures they brought back to remind them of their summer holiday” ✈️🛳⛺️🚌🚃

End of summer term update. It’s been a very busy term with with 2 of our friends leaving to start school and home learning journey. Although I am going to miss them it is always rewarding to help a child be ready for their next steps whether it be school, nursery or home education.

These past few weeks have been busy here but it is also one of our favourite time of the year. The wait is over, we are finally harvesting 🍓🍓🍓

We have been busy with trips to library and Madeley Orchard. The children have tried being worm detectives, spotting frogs and counting bumblebees x🍓🍓🍓

This spring/summer term the children have been enjoying lots of outdoor activities, practicing to write their name,number recognition and den building 🍓🍓🍓

First week back has flown by.
We have been learning the story of “3 little pigs” which gave the kids an idea for using wood for building an assault course & car race trucks 🍓🍓🍓
