☀️ Summer Holiday Activity Programme ☀️
Did you know one of the activities in the summer programme includes sessions at the Driving Range - 2pm to 3pm Mondays at Lawley and Horsehay Village Golf and Fitness Centre? (excluding Bank Holiday Monday 26 August)
There is also Fun N'Floats, tobogganing, tennis, tots donuts and more across our leisure sites. So time to get booking! ⬇️

We love dead pens! Did you know that we are a public collection point for pens that don’t work anymore?

School’s brand new Year 5 (moving into Year 6) Eco Committee organised used pens today to send off for recycling at Terracycle.

The Eco Committee found a few items that can’t be recycled with the pen shipment. They want to remind everyone that only pens (all types), mechanical pencils and whiteout tape dispensers are collected for this recycling programme. Unfortunately, items like glue sticks, crayons and pencil sharpeners can’t be included. Eco committee photo of items that made them frown!

The pens are turned into new items, for example watering cans, bins and soap dispensers.

Kids4£1 is back for the Easter holidays which are not far away! 🧒

Activities we’re offering at centres across the borough include swimming, golf, tobogganing, tennis and lots more. 🏊🏿‍♀️ 🎾 🏌

Kids4£1 is back for Christmas! 🧒🏼 🧒 🎄

The Christmas holidays are fast approaching and our Kids4£1 Christmas programme is starting soon. 👨‍👩‍👧

There are lots of fun activities for you and the family to enjoy over the festive period including tobogganing, badminton and soft play for children.

The weekday and weekend activities run from Wednesday 27 December 2023 to Sunday 7 January 2024 and all sessions can be booked in advance (except for swimming).

We have been serving the community as a Primary School since January 2013 and before that as Infant and Junior Schools since 1980.

At Hollinswood, we pride ourselves on being a welcoming and friendly school. We value the relationships that we have with all connected to the school. We see the school as a team that includes children, staff, governors, parents and an extensive range of partners who help to make us unique.

We are a growing school and are committed to knowing every child and family in order to meet all of our children’s emotional, social and academic needs.

We are extremely proud of our learning environment and use both the inside and outside spaces to maximise opportunities for teaching and learning. For a setting so close to the centre of Telford, we are one of the greenest schools in the borough because of our extensive and beautiful grounds.
