This morning we met with Rocky and the Telford & Wrekin Active Travel Team for our first walk to school event. This is part of our year long sustainable travel programme “A New School Journey” that is funded by the Hollinswood & Randlay Parish Council.

The programme includes bike safety, reducing air pollution near school, walking safely and many other activities over the course of the year. We will be holding another event soon. Details to follow.

Hollinswood Primary School was buzzing with World Book Day fun! 📚✨ A huge well done to all the children who dressed up as book characters or came in their snuggly pyjamas.

Cross‑phase groups spent the day diving into brilliant book‑themed activities, and Year 6’s Where’s Wally? hunt had everyone racing around to spot him first!

A huge thank you to David Dexters Servicing Bridgnorth!

We are incredibly grateful for the delivery of tyres for our OPAL playtimes. The children have already been putting them to fantastic use in our loose parts areas — creating, building, imagining, and having so much fun!

Thank you for supporting our play journey and helping us make playtimes even more exciting!

This term, Year 3 have been exploring the vibrant world of Frida Kahlo 🎨🖌️

The children worked with great focus and creativity, first painting expressive backgrounds before sketching their own portraits inspired by Kahlo’s unique style. They experimented with bold colours to produce mixed‑media artworks. The final pieces are full of personality and reflect both Kahlo’s influence and the children’s growing confidence as young artists!

Aren’t they amazing? 😀
