📱 Important Text Message Update

We have been made aware this morning that some parents and carers are not receiving text messages from school.

After looking into this, it appears that messages are being automatically filtered into Spam/Junk Messages by mobile phone providers.

To resolve this issue, please search for RandlayPS in your Spam or Junk Messages folder. You should then be given the option to release the messages from spam and mark them as safe, which will help ensure future messages are delivered correctly.

If you continue to experience any issues receiving text messages from school, please contact the school office.

If your child was born between 1st September 2022 and 31st August 2023, it's time to start thinking about their school place application. Applications must be submitted by 15th January 2027. If your child has an Education, Health & Care Plan (EHCP), the application deadline is 31 October 2026.

🎨 Art and Design in Base 10!

Today, we explored the still-life paintings of Paul Cézanne, focusing on how he used light, dark and different tones to make objects appear realistic and three-dimensional. We looked carefully at apples and considered where the light source was coming from and how this created highlights and shadows.

We then drew our own apples, using shading, tone and shadow to show the shape and form of the fruit. We experimented with making areas lighter and darker and added shadows around our apples to make them appear as though they were sitting on a surface.

Welcome back to school. The whole school have been focusing on our Randlay values to settle us back into school routines. Along with lots of discussions about demonstrating respect, Base 3 have shown some fabulous courage and collaboration today.

It’s true, time flies when you’re having fun !!!

Three whole days of adventure. Today, we have enjoyed the beautiful River Severn - the perfect ending to our Arthog Summer Camp.
