EYFS enjoyed their ice cream treat!

We have enjoyed a lovely morning with our ice creams - thank you Mrs Stolic. We also enjoyed playing pass the parcel under the tree in the shade.

Base 9 had a brilliant time at Exotic Zoo, yesterday!

Base 8 had the best end of year trip to Exotic Zoo! 🐍 🦎

This morning, we prepared some 2D shape museum displays, recognising the different properties of common 2D shapes.

We’ve shown such great teamwork today!

Mystery build time! Only one person at a time can go and view the target build. They have to then effectively feedback information to their team to replicate it perfectly!

We confidently presented our models to a panel of judges!

So far we’ve made badges, done some code breaking and used UV to find a mystery word!

We have some fantastic creations to present!

Year 4 have arrived at the Lego League competition and we’re ready to present our creations!

This afternoon, Base 3 learnt about then general election and thought about what laws we might enforce if we were Prime Minister.

Base 7 had a great time on our visit to the library on Monday and we were lucky enough to have time to play some games before the rain started!

Base 3 had a lovely time exploring lots of interesting books at Southwater Library this afternoon.

The new reception children had a taster of the school dinners with their parents and carers on Friday!

After a great breakfast and a slow walk to Enginuity we are ready to start our fun day exploring the museum!

Year 2 have just had their delicious dinner and are now all comfy in their pyjamas playing games😊

Year 2 have just arrived at the Youth Hostel and are now settling into their rooms😊 We will upload the photos when we’ve got better signal!

Base 9 have loved learning about bees this week! 🐝

KS1 have enjoyed having workshops with Alison from Alison's Bee class this week and we even got a feature on Shropshire radio!

This afternoon, we began our science unit on skeletons. We used four teacakes to pose as organs, and thought of ways in which we could protect them (like a skeleton). Some teacakes sadly cracked, as the protection was not secure enough, but the best 'skeletons' were the cardboard tissue box and the Lego house, created skilfully by Perry.

Nursery have enjoyed the life cycle of the frog! We had them as tiny tadpoles and luckily we managed to see all their legs before we broke up today!

Base 3 have had a wonderful afternoon at SkyReach, pushing themselves to their limits and facing their height fears. The children must all be proud of themselves for what they have achieved. Far too many videos and photographs were captured, but these will be popped onto Base 3's class page. Enjoy your half term break! :)
