What a busy week we’ve had.

As well as a stay and play for our Dads this week we’ve been exploring vets for the Monkey room and hairdressers for the Teddy Room.

Have a look at some of our wonderful activities this week, the dolls have had a spa, enclosures built for the animals and much more 😊😊

Family hubs, supporting families to have the Best Start in Life. Family hubs are part of the government’s Best Start in Life programme, which aims to help children feel ready to learn and thrive as they start their school journey.

The Teddy room have been looking at vets this week, using fine motor skills for threading animals, painting with different resources (feathers) while exploring different animals we have as pets.

The Monkey room have been looking at Chefs, with a focus on fine motor and self help skills while learning to chop their own vegetables. They were very good at this and learnt how to use the tools safely.

Reminder we have our Father’s Day activities next week. Looks like the sun is out for the weekend so enjoy ☀️

It’s been nice to see some more sunshine this week ☀️
The children have enjoyed lots of outdoor experience’s and the Teddy room have done a fantastic job on learning how to throw and catch a ball with friends. They have als been working hard with their learning indoors too, exploring the farm and what the names of baby farm animals are, they have also been doing some fantastic work with counting and number recognition using our farm animals.
The Monkey room have been exploring mini beasts, creating their own bug hotel, using pippets for fine motor skills to collect nectar like bees and their favourite was going on a bug hunt outside. 😊

We will leave you this week with a beautiful display of the art work of the lovely children in our Monkey room.
Remember to look at April’s newsletter to see which stories your children have been exploring this week and some fab home learning ideas. The children will be keen to share with you what they have been learning.
