This morning in Pre-School we welcomed Rachel from Music Minors back after the Christmas holidays. We all had so much fun and enjoyed her session. 😃🥁🪇🎼

This week one of our children brought a very special visitor into Pre-School with them. Mr Grinch came to play, he had so much fun and especially enjoyed lunchtime! We all loved playing with him and he was definitely not a mean one!

In Pre-School we have been talking and learning all about Autumn. Our recent books of the week have been The leaf man, Little acorns and Owl babies. The children have really enjoyed these stories which support our current interest.
We have enjoyed leaf printing, making Hedgehogs using salt dough, creating cosy homes for pinecone hedgehogs, creating owl collage pictures and models and lots lots more!

This morning Rachel from Music Minors came in for her first session of the new term! We all enjoyed joining in with the instruments, singing and dancing and had lots of fun.

The Health Protection Hub at Telford & Wrekin Council have asked us send out some information to you on summer water safety. With the current hot weather, children, particularly older children, may look to go swimming in open water to cool down and have fun. This comes with various risks – cold water shock, currents, hidden underwater dangers and diseases such as Weil’s disease. 46% of drownings occur in the summer months and this rises to 75% amongst 13 – 17-year olds. Educating children on these dangers is important in preventing tragic incidents.
