Spooky Spectacular Event

The Friends of Dothill will once more support a Halloween and Autumn themed event on the last day of this half term – 23rd October. Children are welcome to dress up for this, but we ask that they bring in costumes to change into in the afternoon rather than wear all day please. No face paints please.

Today, Year 3 and the Rainbow Room were excited to welcome visitors from the Shropshire Fire Service. The children learned about the many important and inspiring ways firefighters help to keep our community safe, from responding to emergencies to educating people about fire safety. They also had the fantastic opportunity to look around a real fire engine and learn about the equipment firefighters use every day. The visit was enjoyed by all, and the children were delighted by this memorable experience.

🌟 WOW, Dothill — look at what we did! 🌟

We filled the van! 🚐❤️

What an incredible school community we have. We’ve been overwhelmed by the generosity of our families, with so many donations coming in from across the school.

From tins and toiletries to pasta and nappies, every single item will make a real difference to someone in our local community. 🥫🧴🍝🍼

Together, we have collected enough to support so many families who need a little extra help.

A huge THANK YOU to every family who donated — your kindness, generosity and support really does make a difference. ❤️
Dothill, you should be very proud! 👏🌟

It's Friday again and we have had so many things to celebrate. Our children are wonderful examples of our community and these assemblies reinforce that. They were described as socially conscientious, as displaying impeccable behaviour, as mature and sensible, fabulous role models and giving support and advice and for being a kind friend. If our wider community could replicate these qualities we would be living in a wonderful place.
As well as the behaviour reasons we heard about amazing maths, wonderful maths.
The Dazzling Dotties trophy went to 3J for fabulous writing and trying very hard.
We celebrated lots of out of school achievements, including swimming and football.
Well done, we are very proud of you ⭐️

🌾 Thank you to all the families who have donated to our Harvest Festival collection this year! 🌾

This lovely display shows the generous donations from Year 4. 💛

Tomorrow is the last day to donate, so if you haven’t had a chance yet, we would love to receive any donations tomorrow.

The Telford Crisis Support team will be collecting the donations tomorrow, so there is still time to help support local families in need.
Thank you once again for your kindness and generosity! ❤️

We had a lovely, sunny lunchtime playing today, we are making the most of this last bit of summer!
The dance floor is always popular, as are the gravel pit, sandpits and dressing up clothes. Our amazing year 6 sports ambassadors provide great activities for the younger children and today was an assault course, which they found to be fabulous fun.
Please remember us when you have a clear out of toys, we had a lovely donation of dressing up clothes following our last appeal but would love other things, such as dolls, vehicles, dinosaurs or anything you have. Thank you 😊

🍂 Harvest Collection Reminder 🍂

A little reminder to all our parents and carers - please don’t forget to bring in your donations for our Harvest Collection! 🥫🍎
Telford Crisis Support will be collecting everything on Friday, and we would absolutely love to fill the van so we can support as many local families as possible. ❤️
Every donation, big or small, can make a real difference. If you’re able to add an extra item or two to your shopping, it would be very much appreciated.
Thank you so much for your kindness and continued support! 🙏🍂
