Grandparents' Tea Party....smiles, laughter, tea and cake 🎂 🙂

Reminder- Tomorrow, the Year 5 fundraising team will be selling their homemade crafts on the playground at the end of the day. There are some fabulous items including bracelets, book marks and stickers. This will take place straight after school at 3:15, see you there!

A huge thanks for all of your support with their fundraising so far!

We've had great fun in Forest Club this afternoon, creating some excellent dens and some of us went hunting for mini-bugs.

Mrs Renshaw and I have been so impressed with how they've been helping each other and showing great creativity.

🌟 A Huge Thank You to Everyone Who Joined Our Grandparents’ Tea Party! 🌟

What a fabulous afternoon we had. It was truly heart‑warming to see so many grandparents in the classrooms, chatting with the children and sharing stories. The children loved asking questions and proudly showing their work — the smiles said it all.

We were also delighted to welcome the Mayor, who joined us for this special event and shared in the wonderful atmosphere.

Afterwards, we enjoyed a lovely cup of tea or coffee, along with biscuits and the most delicious old‑fashioned school cake. A massive thank you to the wonderful Donna and her team for creating such delicious treats.

We received so much positive feedback, and it’s clear this event is becoming a firm favourite.

A huge thank you as well to all the staff and pupils who helped set up, serve, and tidy away. Your hard work made the afternoon run beautifully.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Mel who has worked so closely with us throughout this project. Mel’s dedication, patience, and creativity have been inspirational, enabling all of our school community to play a part in bringing the mosaic to life. The experience has created lasting memories for our pupils and a shared sense of pride across the whole school.
The swan mosaic now sits proudly on the wall of the demountable, where it can be admired by all. It is a beautiful representation of our school identity and will remain a lasting legacy for years to come.
We hope you enjoy looking at these photographs from the unveiling – but that you enjoy seeing it in person even more. We are incredibly proud to share this special achievement with you.

Reminder - Cake Sale Today

We will be selling cakes at the end of the day. Due to the dreadful weather we will reloacte the sale into the small hall. 😀We ask that you enter school through your childs classroom and make your way to the hall. 🎂 🥮
