Despite having been out for over 7 years at this point, Fortnite has retained its popularity – primarily among the younger generations – with 230 million active players still regularly logging in to enjoy a match or two 🎮 A chunk of Fortnite’s continued success can be attributed to its continuous updates and expansions, which try to offer new and exciting ways to play in the game’s world. LEGO Fortnite is one of the latest of these additions, incorporating the aesthetics and freeform building of the well-known toys into the game 🏗️
While Fortnite is regularly considered a 'child-friendly game' in terms of its content, it is still an online game which connects its players to strangers from all over the world 🌐 and LEGO Fortnite is no different. Naturally, this – along with other traits and features – presents significant safety concerns to younger users, which should be considered before a child steps into the Fortnite world. Our free guide this week offers you expert insight into the online safety risks of LEGO Fortnite and advises you on how best to safeguard youngsters from the most common dangers presented.

Growing Strawberry from Strawberry Scraps
1. Choose Healthy Strawberries
Select ripe, healthy strawberries free from disease or mold.
2. Extract Seeds from Strawberry
Rinse strawberries to remove dirt.
Scrape off seeds with a knife or spoon, or blend strawberries with water, let sit, and pour off the pulp to collect seeds.
3. Dry and Store Seeds
Spread seeds on a paper towel or cloth to dry for a few days.
Store dry seeds in an envelope or small container.
4. Prepare for Germination
(Optional) Stratify by placing seeds in a damp paper towel, sealing in a plastic bag, and refrigerating for 2-4 weeks.
5. Plant the Seeds
Fill seed trays or small pots with seed-starting mix.
Sprinkle seeds on the surface, lightly press into soil, and mist lightly.
6. Provide Ideal Conditions
Place trays or pots in a warm, sunny spot or under grow lights (60-70°F / 15-21°C).
Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged.
7. Transplant Seedlings
Transplant when seedlings have 2-3 true leaves.
Space them 12 inches apart in well-draining, nutrient-rich soil.
8. Care for Your Plants
Water regularly, keeping soil moist but not waterlogged.
Use a balanced fertilizer every few weeks during the growing season.
9. Mulch and Protect
Apply mulch to retain moisture, suppress weeds, and keep fruit clean.
Protect from pests and birds with netting or garden fabric.
10. Harvesting
Harvest strawberries when fully red and ripe.
Pick gently to avoid damaging the plant and future fruits.
By following these steps and providing proper care, you can enjoy fresh, home-grown strawberries.
