Our Ember learners have been busy producing some cross-halving joints 🔨 For their first attempt, they’ve done extremely well!

They focused on perfecting the finish by carefully using a chisel to achieve a precise, snug fit—great attention to detail and craftsmanship on display 👏

Today our Ignite Learners got hands-on with rendering, working through each stage of the process—from applying the basecoat and scratch coat to finishing with the top coat. They documented their progress step by step with photos, showing their growing confidence and skill.

They also demonstrated a strong awareness of health and safety, making sure to wear appropriate PPE and mix materials correctly throughout the session. Great to see such a professional approach in action!
