Have you ever thought about what you can do to slow down and focus on your mental well-being?
Slow stitching for mindfulness is a great way to take a moment away from our busy schedules and the increasingly digital lifestyles we seem to lead!
Mental health struggles can affect anyone, the simple act of slow stitching can be incredibly effective in finding focus during these times.
Because of it’s repetitive silent action it can be seen as a form of meditation which can bring a sort of inner calm whilst absorbing the mind.
Each week we have a different theme and the materials are provided along with friendly like minded people and a relaxing environment.
Every Thursday
£12.50 per session
10am-12.30pm
1.30pm-3.30pm
6.30pm-9pm
We are having a sit & sew session this morning at Leegomery Community Centre along with Cllr. Raj Mehta
The absolutely wonderful Telford Interfaith Council have been kind enough to provide us with breakfast too!!
Doing what we love on a Saturday morning with scrumptious food, what’s not to love?
