S. D. Walker Group – 2025 Final Quarter

With our final site assessments already planned for the final quarter of 2025, the last of which being ARLA in Oswestry, and the Christmas season and year end is rapidly approaching, it’s a great time to reflect on the last quarter of 2025

Over all, It has already been busy 4th and final quarter of this year with the last site inspection taking place at the ARLA factory in Oswesty in December, and some significant compliance services contract wins including:

ARLA Dairy Products (Manufacturing sites).
Enable International UK.
Cadburys ( UK Manufacturing Sites).
Ormiston Academy Schools Portfolio.
CMCS (Critical Mail Continuity Services).
Didcot Park Industrial Complex.

This week we are on-site at PepsiCo’s Walkers Crisps factory in Skemersdale. We are once again absolutely chuffed to be chosen as PepsiCo UK’s preferred cooling compliance and Energy Performance assessment partner for the company’s manufacturing sites.

This week marks 15 years of delivering cooling system compliance solution’s to Schaeffler Europe, so I have spent the last couple of days at Schaeffler Europe’s LUK / FAG Bearing’s recently refurbished Hereford national distribution centre doing the AC Assessments. Big thank you to Jamie and his team for showing me around site and a for a fantastic welcome.

Today we had the task of completing the TM44 Cooling Compliance Inspections to the installed Air conditioning systems at Welshpool's famous Sidoli Dessert Factory. The company makes and distributes some of the finest commercialliy known desserts, so with so many lovely culinary distractions, this was quite a task and definitely not one for those of us with a sweet tooth. We would like to give a big thank you to the site maintenance team at Sidoli for giving us free range across the site and of course, to C**t Manton, site engineer from Border Temperature Control for his valuable help. With a fantastic factory shop on site, it is safe to say we did not come away empty handed. Now what did I do with that jug of cream?

Another great week for Service-Tech UK with Halesowen College once again renewing the 5-year air conditioning compliance inspections contract to the 14 buildings across 2 campuses to S.D Walker Group’s Service-Tech UK Inspections are expected to commence in April 2025.
