Tuesday we went to Home Farm at Attingham and fed the new lambs and Dave the goat. The kids loved all the animals and ride on tractors.
Wednesday we enjoyed some time at the allotment helping out including podding some beans ready for planting.

Jam splats and lemon wedges - pancake counting 🥞 part of our pancake cake themed day.
First we counted the number of dots on our pancakes, we when needed to match the right number of jam splats or lemon wedges to that number. For Nell I also progressed it to ‘if I gave you one lemon wedge, how many jam splats would you need to get to five’.
Play dough pancakes followed by the real things 🥞
We started the week with a half term treat, a circus skills day at . The girls had a go on aerial hoop and hammock and enjoyed plenty of jumping on the arch mat.
At home we’ve built train tracks, castles, worked on our balance and colouring matching.

Peanut Butter and Chocolate Cookies 🍪
A super easy recipe to do with little ones.
100g oats
100g caster sugar (use less if you prefer you biscuits not too sweet)
100g peanut butter
1 egg
1 tsp baking powder
30g chocolate of your choice (I didn’t have any chocolate chips so we used chocolate spread this time, worked just as well swirled through)
Place everything in a bowl and mix together. Roll into balls and place on baking tray. Cook for 10-12 mins at 190 degrees.
Will make between 12 and 14 cookies.
