Little Beans childminding

This morning we enjoyed a lovely autumn walk in the leaves 🍂 .

We enjoyed feeling there crunchy texture in our hands and underneath our feet as we walked .

W decided to gather some sticks together and with them we made our own little bonfire pile of sticks 😊

We listened to what we could hear in the woods .

W said she could hear the birds tweeting , so we listened closely to their sounds .

We also enjoyed spotting lots of squirrels on our walk!

This week we've enjoyed getting about leaf collecting .

We enjoyed looking at the beautiful coloured leaves and then took them home so we could do some leaf rubbing pictures ❤

This morning we took a walk to the park .

We enjoyed collecting sticks and going on adventure through the woods where the children took the lead of which way we were going .

We found many things along the way .. bird houses , snails and holes in the soil .

We also enjoyed doing some big drawings with the chalks and drawing around our shadows 😊

Playdoh

This morning the children have enjoyed using their hands to manipulate the playdoh and used the different tools to make with .

There are so many benefits to playdoh aswell as lots of fun!

♡It develops fine motor skills.
♡Its calming for children.
♡It encourages creativity.
♡It enhances hand-eye coordination.
♡It improves social skills.
♡It supports literacy and numeracy.
♡It promotes playtime.

💧 Splashing in puddles 💧

There were lots of puddles to jump and splash in on the way to nursery today 😃

The benefits of playing in puddles..

Puddles are places for children to collect, process, and interpret information about their environment. They learn about how their body actions manipulate and influence how water flows.

It is also lots of fun! 🙂

This morning we went on a " slug hunt " with our friends .

We also spotted snails along the way and counted 3 !

We discovered that slugs leave a lot of slime and also like to hide in the leaves . We enjoyed watching the slug slide away 😀

This morning we have been playing in the water . The children have enjoyed using the containers to empty and fill.

By filling and emptying from containers toddlers and young children learn about different shapes and sizes.
At this stage, they can be taught descriptive language, full, empty, half full etc.

By pouring things out of the container without help and support, they gain a sense of independence.

What we have got up to so far -

🍁 We enjoyed doing some daily yoga to help our mind stay calm & to get moving.
🍁 Using the duplo blocks to order numbers in order of size.
🍁Baking our own cupcakes. The children really enjoyed mixing, adding the ingredients and then transferring the mix to the cases .
🍁 Autumn sensory bags !
🍁 Going on a leaf hunt .

We can't wait for more Autumnal activities & walks ❤

This morning the children have had a lovely time .

We have ..

♡ Played outside in the garden , the children are enjoying our new trampoline :)
♡ We have enjoyed doing a bit of yoga following the story of " Goldilocks and the Three bears "
♡ We have been playing restraunts and babies in the play room
♡ Story time today we chose " Little Red Riding Hood " and " Peppa the Unicorn"

This afternoon we've all joined in with some cosmic yoga and sticky kids dancing to get moving !

This morning the children enjoyed a walk to the park , on the way collecting flowers , sticks , leaves . .

When we got back we painted with the items we collected . The children enjoyed using different nature items to create pictures .

The children also enjoyed mixing all the different colours up and using different things to paint with !

This week we have been enjoying the sunny weather !

The children and I took a trip to Attingham Park and had an adventure around the deer park ! Along the way we heard crickets , spotted many butterflies and lots of puddles !

The children had great fun exploring their surroundings . We love going on our walks and being in nature ! ❤ . Hope you all have a wonderful summer holidays 😊

This morning we have enjoyed having our own little football match at the field, socialising with friends & just having fun 😀 .

The children have really developed such good friendships. We enjoy meeting up with the other childminding group:)
The children practiced their physical skills. We kicked the ball to eachother , we scored some goals and learnt how to throw over head !

We also sat very nicely and enjoyed listening to a book about football and at the end we got our very own medals 🏅 😀

We've had a lovely morning together at Red Lion Ice Cream Farm Haughton !

The children enjoyed spending time together with Muxton Explorers Childminding . They were all so excited as we took our time to look at all the different animals . The children especially enjoyed seeing the chickens wondering around freely :)

A snack / ice cream stop was also a favourite part of our day ❤

Today has been filled with music, dancing and a suprise visit to see some farm animals after our music session .

It was lovely to see the children so happy and excited for this unexpected visit 😊 ❤

Over all a great day has been had ❤

Today was our final music session and what a fantastic few weeks it has been!

The children have developed some incredible new skills, creativity and friendships throughout the program and I have had some amazing feedback each week from all the childminders that have joined us.

To celebrate the end of our music sessions, we decided to have a mini music parade where the children could showcase their musical talents playing a variety of instruments and performing to each other.

Thank you everyone that has participated in our “music land” sessions and of course to our incredible teacher Caroline too!
