A few weeks ago we took part in sports week. We had hockey and cricket workshops and finished off the week with a fantastic Sports Day. Year 5 have worked incredibly hard in PE this term and was amazing to see them shine in sports week.

I can’t believe it is the end of the academic year already!
We hope the children have a fantastic summer holiday and it is filled with memories of spending time with their friends and family!
Thank you so much to our amazing team who work so hard - they are constantly striving to improve and make every day the best for our children and I am so lucky to work with all of them!
Good luck to our fabulous Year Six children who are starting on the next part of their adventure.

On Monday 28 August there will be a Coracle regatta and Coronation Drift by Ironbridge Coracle Trust.

A new micro book shop is open for business at 8, Duke Street, Wellington after receiving a start-up trial grant through our Pride in Our High Street programme.
The book-ends, launched by husband and wife Richard and Mercy Smartt, sells a wide selection of new and pre-owned books. 📘
Richard and Mary want to create an instore ‘story’ experience, putting the community at the heart of everything, and will be having in store signings performances from authors and leading artists.
In addition to the start-up trial grant, the pair also raised £3,500 through a crowdfunding site to support their high street launch.

International 3D artist Julian Beever has added a playful twist to the entrance hall at Attingham Park NT this summer. His temporary new ‘pavement’ artwork takes inspiration from the mansion’s historic trompe-l’oeil wall paintings and Regency architecture. The optical illusion art will be on display until the beginning of September, and those with a keen eye, might spot three mice hidden in the piece. 🐭🐭🐭
