Childcare services for children aged 1 month to 13 years.

Childcare provided in a loving family home environment by qualified experienced childcare professionals. Cherished childcare provides a first class childminding service for children aged 1 months to 11 years. We can offer full time, part time, term time and holiday cover between the hours of 7-30 and 17-30 other hours can be discussed as required. The setting is run by Lisa Credicott with 25 plus years in childcare, a working mum with four children aged between 11 years and 26 years. Lisa is supported by Bethany Dower another very experienced childminder with two children aged between 1 years and 4 years. Together they can offer the children a safe, secure and stimulating environment giving all the children a chance to develop as individuals. During a typical day the children will have sociable meal times, varied play opportunities both indoors and in the large secure garden, they will join in with community events, cook and bake, make plenty of mess with arts and craft, join in with singing,dancing and story times. Lisa is qualified in childcare and education, paediatric first aid, food hygiene, safeguarding and various courses on how children learn and develop. Bethany also is qualified in early years, paediatric first aid, food hygiene,safeguarding and various courses on how children learn and develop. Lisa and Bethany will be available for drop offs and pick ups from whitchurch Preschool and Whitchurch community Primary school. By 2 years of age children have heard many words and are used to what happens in their daily life. These repeated experiences help them to understand simple questions and instructions like “where’s your drink?”, “go and get your coat” and “daddy's turn”. http://soc.devon.cc/2S710

Today saw our last school run to Whitchurch School after 17 years of delivering and collecting children from the PreSchool and School we have decided it’s time to focus on our Early Years Children. We will miss the older children and the playground conversations but won’t miss the rain , snow and ice during the winter months whilst walking to and from. It really has been lovely being part of so many children’s lives and seeing them grow into great adults and young people but time to say goodbye to the school from Cherished Childcare. ❤️

This has been years now we are penalised and our families have to go elsewhere for their childcare. The government arguement that people will register as childminders to get the funding for their family members is ridiculous we all know the funding is way lower than normal fees and the hoops we and our family members have to jump though to register mean a person thinking this is a good idea would soon change their mind!!

48 signatures are still needed! Allow Ofsted registered childminders to claim government funding for family members
