Just before half term year 5 visited London for three days. It was a jam packed visit we went to Buckingham Palace, did a bus tour, used the tube (multiple times!), watched The Lion King st the theatre and visited The Houses of Parliament! The children were amazing and it was such a wonderful experience for them all. Huge thanks to GWR who looked after us on both train journeys and even bumped us up to first class on the way home!

We have a vacancy for the role of cleaner, to work in school on Monday – Friday for two hours a day, 10 hours a week
It is anticipated that the hours will be worked from 15.00 – 17.00.
The hours can be flexible as long as they are completed by 18.00

'Hands-on learning at its best! Last Tuesday, Marie from Animals 2U South West visited us in the afternoon with a selection of minibeasts, including a millipede, stick insect, cockroach, and a frog. She shared so many interesting facts, and everyone had the chance to touch or handle the animals. The children were incredibly brave throughout the session.
Marie commented on how well the children behaved and how enthusiastically they participated during the visit. The visit was a wonderful addition to our minibeast topic and really brought our learning to life. Thank you, Marie, for such an engaging experience.

16 year 6 children are taking part in Junior Ten Tors this year. It is such a wonderful opportunity for them. Today was a fantastic day with classic Dartmoor weather; beginning in coats and hats and finishing in T-shirts! The children were great and were able to map read and navigate their way around the 5km walk today. Well done to them all!
