Milton Abbot School and Little Owls Pre-School

The children of Milton Abbot enjoyed travelling to infinity and beyond yesterday when the Wonderdome Planetarium visited the school. This was made possible by the fantastic Hoot PTA- thank you, we had a blast!

Bristol Day 2
The Year 5s settled quickly last night and have had a wonderful morning exploring at ‘We the Curious’ and they really enjoyed zooming through space at the Planetarium. After lunch in Cathedral Square, they explored Bristol Cathedral and this evening are taking part in a Grafitti workshop. Another fun packed day.

Year 5 have enjoyed a wonderful start to their residential. Beautiful weather, Banksy artwork and new friends! They are looking forward to the boat trip after dinner this evening.

🍘 Snacks: Rice cakes with a choice of toppings

All activities will be child-led, with lots of choice and independence. We’re always open to the children’s ideas too!
Weather and numbers allowing, we’ll also try to get outside and enjoy some fresh air ☀️

It’s a great chance for the children to relax at the end of the day while enjoying a wide range of activities.

🦉 Barn Owls Wrap Around Care – This Week 🦉
Here’s what we’ve got planned for our Barn Owls wrap around care this coming week:
✨ Activities include:
• Crackers with a variety of tasty toppings
• Rainbow salt art
• Playdough fun
• Junk modelling creations
• Table tennis
🌳 Outdoor play will be available weather‑dependent and activities may vary slightly depending on numbers.
🎬 Looking ahead: we’re thinking of introducing a Friday chill‑out session with a movie– a lovely way to wind down at the end of the week!
