๐FriendsFest is almost here! ๐
The countdown is on, and we can't wait to welcome you to FriendsFest this Saturday for a fantastic day of family fun, great food and plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy!
Before you arrive, please take a moment to read the important information below to help make the day run as smoothly as possible. Thank you for supporting the Friends and helping us raise valuable funds for our school. We look forward to seeing you there!
Important Information
Weather: FriendsFest will go ahead whatever the weather, unless exceptional circumstances require us to cancel. Please dress appropriately for the forecast and remember to bring sun cream, hats and a refillable water bottle. There will be water refill stations around the event to help everyone stay cool and hydrated throughout the afternoon
Photography: Please note that photographs and videos will be taken throughout FriendsFest for use by Friends in newsletter and on our social media channels. By attending the event, you acknowledge that you may appear in these images. If you do not wish to be photographed, please speak to a member of the Friends team on arrival.
Food & Drink: We will have a selection of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan food options available. You are also very welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks if you prefer. Please note that, due to our licensing conditions, guests must not bring their own alcohol onto the site. A licensed can bar will be available serving alcoholic beverages. You are also more than welcome to bring picnic blankets and camping chairs.
Parking: Parking on the school site will not be available on the day unless this has been agreed in advance with a senior member of Friends, for example, if you require disabled parking. Parking on the surrounding roads will be limited, so please walk where possible. If you do need to park nearby, we kindly ask that you park considerately and are mindful of our neighbours by avoiding blocking driveways or causing obstruction.
Special Guests: We are hopeful that the fire engine will be joining us on the day. However, due to the current hot weather and the increased demand on our emergency services, attendance cannot be guaranteed if crews are called away to incidents. We appreciate your understanding.
Payment: We will be accepting both cash and card payments throughout the event for your convenience.
Children: All children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Need Help? Friends volunteers will be wearing yellow lanyards throughout the event. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to speak to one of our volunteers.
Thank You: FriendsFest is organised entirely by volunteers. Thank you for supporting our school and helping us raise valuable funds for our children. We'd also like to say a huge thank you to all of our amazing volunteers, whose time, enthusiasm and hard work make events like this possible.
You can book online using the link on the comments or pay on the gate. We can't wait to see you and we hope you have a fantastic day!
