We are in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of the counties of Somerset and Devon with the school achieving a high reputation within the community and beyond. Our catchment area feeds into the Castle Secondary School in Taunton and some of our pupils go to Uffculme School in Devon.

Yesterday, we enjoyed a lovely Leavers’ Assembly to say goodbye to and celebrate our amazing Year 6 children! We wish them all the best as they move onto adventures new. We’ll miss you!

🏊♂️🚴♂️🏃♂️ A Fantastic Achievement at The Knight Frank Schools Triathlon! 🏃♂️🚴♂️🏊♂️
On Sunday 28th June, some of our talented Year 4 and Year 6 boys proudly represented the school at The Knight Frank Schools Triathlon, competing against schools from across the country.
The boys showed incredible determination, resilience and teamwork throughout the day, and we are delighted to share their outstanding results:
🥉 Year 6 Boys – 4th place out of 60 teams
🌟 Year 4 Boys – 11th place out of 79 teams
These are exceptional achievements in such a highly competitive event, and every member of both teams should be immensely proud of their efforts. Their commitment, sportsmanship and enthusiasm were a credit to the school.
A huge congratulations to all the boys who took part, and thank you to the staff and parents who supported them throughout the event.

A huge thank you to our amazing staff team for their dedication and hard work this week in keeping our school open during such challenging temperatures. Your care, flexibility and professionalism ensured that the children remained safe, comfortable and engaged throughout.
Despite the heat, we also enjoyed an incredible Sports Day—thank you to staff and our PTA for making it such a fantastic event for everyone involved.
By staying open, we were able to support our families and help many parents continue working without disruption. 🙏
