Today, we had a fantastic opportunity to take our Year 5 delegates to the ACE COP26 event at Exeter University, where they confidently discussed important issues around the environment and sustainability.

The children represented the school brilliantly, sharing their ideas and working alongside children from other schools to help the trust develop pledges for how all schools can make a positive difference going forward.

It was inspiring to see their enthusiasm and commitment. Watch this space, change is coming 🌍

A great sports day today after it was rained off last week. A big thank you to all the parents and carers who came to support the children, the staff who put in so much work to organise the day and the pupils for all doing their best.

We were so proud of Bella and Marvin today. We had a special invite to visit … a health insurer in Taunton who sponsored the Magic Dentist project. Marvin and Bella really impressed the marketing director ..… Charlie MacEwan on the day he invited them for a guided tour of the business. The children played “department bingo” finding out all the jobs the 462 staff fulfil. A great trip where Bella and Marvin represented the school with their manners and great behaviour.

Bishop Fiona joins service to mark opening of school's Spirituality Trail - Bath and Wells Diocese Bishop Fiona was invited to Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School, Taunton to commission the new Spirituality Trail, created in the school grounds, which invites pupils and staff to pause, listen and connect more deeply with God and with one another.
