A reminder about the second of my Art Talks st the Castle hotel in Taunton. The subject this time is 'The Waking Dream' and in this talk we will explore the mysterious late 19th century art movement of Symbolism. Exotic, erotic and more than a little eccentric in their work, Symbolist artists reacted against materialism and the advance of industry and science.
2 pm on Thursday 9th July. £15 for the talk only or £25 to include the legendary tea. Book online or pay at reception on the day. I would be delighted to see you there!

A little reminder that the first of my two upcoming art talks at the Castle Hotel in Taunton is this Thursday 11th June at 2pm. "Stoned Love" will show in detail the amazing sculptural work of Gian Lorenzo Bernini who took Rome by storm in the 17th century. £15 for the talk only or £25 with the legendary afternoon tea included (highly recommended!)

There are two art talks coming up at The Castle Hotel. June 11th at 2pm 'Stoned Love' on the dynamic and thrilling sculptures of Gian Lorenzo Bernini. £15 for talk only, £25 for talk and splendid afternoon tea.
The Second talk is on July 9th at 2pm. The art under discussion is the erotic and exotic theme of Symbolism. Search for the elusive femme fatale and the mysterious dream world of nineteenth century artists and poets.
