Sometimes the most valuable member benefit is simply knowing who to call. ๐๐ด
Running an equestrian centre comes with challenges that can be difficult to navigate alone. Licensing, employment, contracts, staffing, difficult client situations... sometimes what you really need is access to someone who understands the industry and can help you work out what to do next.
Thatโs why the wider support network behind ABRS+ membership matters so much.
Alongside support from the ABRS+ team, members also receive access to specialist partners including the Equestrian Employers Association (EEA), helping with employment, HR, health & safety and wider business issues.
Tessaโs experience at Hall Farm Stables is a great example of what that support can mean in practice. โค๏ธ
And itโs a conversation weโll be continuing at this yearโs ABRS+ Conference: Thriving Together โ Horses, People & Business.
During our interactive roundtable - Difficult Conversations, Healthy Boundaries, facilitated by Anne Clarke, ABRS+ Development Manager and Livery Yard Member, delegates will share real experiences and practical approaches to difficult situations, boundaries and protecting your own wellbeing. The ideas generated will help create an ABRS+ Managing Challenging Clients Toolkit, which every delegate can take back to their own yard.
Running an equestrian business can be hugely rewarding, but it comes with its challenges too. We want our members to know they have resources they can access and people to turn to, whatever comes their way.
