In RE Class 1 have been learning about Judaism and the Covenant. This week the children made their own scrolls with a message of how we should live our lives.
First the children had to use their fine motor skills to roll a piece of paper into a scroll. The children showed great perseverance and you could see the concentration on their faces. Then they had to attach the scroll to some straws, before writing their message. Some children decided that their scrolls were so special, that they would not touch them but used a pointer (yad) to read their message. π

Look at our baking skills! π©βπ³ π§βπ³
Another group of children from Class 3 honed their baking skills on Friday. The children really enjoyed their baking, weighing the ingredients, kneading the dough, leaving the dough to rise, shaping their rolls and then finally being greeted by the delicious smell of fresh bread. π₯ π. They couldn't wait to tuck into their baking!

Class 3 have arrived and are already having fun!
Class 3 are already embracing Pinkery and its surroundings. They were excited to set up their rooms and have loved exploring the Exmoor National Park. The peat bogs and Pinkery Pond were a real hit, especially the tunnel!
