Library News
A huge well done to our students for recycling over 8,000 plastic bottles this year, helping to keep them out of landfill.

Congratulations to Caernarfon, who were our overall winners with an impressive 1,895 bottles collected! ♻️

Summer Reading
During the final week of term, all students were invited to choose a book to enjoy over the summer holidays. These are books that students can keep for themselves or pass on to others once they have finished reading.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated young adult and children's fiction books. Your generosity has helped us put hundreds of books into the hands of our students and encourage a love of reading over the summer break. 📚

UCS College Group Creative & Digital team are excited to launch their Summer Taster Day! This will take place on Tuesday 25 August, 10:00am – 2:00pm at Taunton College. Suitable for Year 8 - 11 students with an interest in any of these subjects, no experience necessary.

Art & Design, Content Creation, Make-up Artistry, Digital Software,
Accounting and Corporate Finance.

This is an incredible opportunity to nurture your creativity and/or problem-solving skills, learn from experienced professionals, and understand the diverse avenues within the local industries.

SUMMER SHOWCASE – WEDNESDAY 15 JULY

In light of the World Cup semi-final taking place on Wednesday 15 July, we have taken the decision to move the start of the Summer Showcase to 4:30pm ending at 7pm.

🎟️ Tickets are £5 per person and are available now from Arbor. You can also purchase tickets on the night at either of the two entry points:
- Front of school entrance is next to the bike shed as you come into the playground
- At the end of Heron Drive

The ticket price includes unlimited access to all fairground rides and inflatables (bouncy castle for Primary school age only). Tickets can be purchased with cash or contactless payment on the night.

🧺 Feel free to bring picnics, blankets, and chairs to enjoy the evening. You might want to think about an umbrella in case there are light showers.
💷 Please bring lots of cash (small change!) for the fete stalls and BBQ. An ice cream van will also be on-site, accepting both cash and contactless payments.
🚗 Parking is available from 4pm in the college car parks (charges apply). If possible, please walk or cycle to the event.
