For every one of them, it's a huge moment. Nerves, hope, maybe some disappointment. All of it real.

But spare a thought for something else too. The world they're stepping into looks nothing like the one we started in.

Jobs are changing faster than most of us can keep up with. Skills that mattered five years ago don't always matter now. The path from school to career isn't a straight line anymore, if it ever was.

That's exactly why the adults around them matter so much right now. Not just this week, but every week after it.
