Hello OA’s,
Lotti Cargen here, Meynell House & Hockey coach 2016.
I am doing a shameless plea.
A bit of background. I am a teacher but also do some work with Gilbert rugby on the side as a brand ambassador. We are currently looking at a few things but the most exciting thing is focusing on celebrating womens rugby. We have realised - how do you promote a sport that’s not in plain sight? We want to address the fact that womens rugby is still not easily accessible and yet is as exciting as the mens’ game and the same rules!
With that in mind we are also looking at brand diversity and what quality sports equipment can mean to various levels of different sports.
We have launched Grays Teamsports. We need to boost the following quickly and that’s where you (hopefully) come in. Could you please take 3 seconds to like the Instagram page and boost our numbers. We want to be at 1000+ in 4 weeks.

I appreciate the power of an old boys network and thank you all in anticipation for the support.

We enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of this week, with the annual Staff v Pupils v OA golf match. Congratulations to the pupils, who won the cup this year, and to Wilf G who won the individual competition with an amazing round, scoring 38 points. King's College Taunton - OAs and Friends

As part of our weekly activity support and entertainment this term, we're delighted to confirm that King's College Taunton - OAs and Friends and hugely talented chef Ross Stacey of The River Cafe is joining us for this week's live “Cook for your Parents”.
Photo Friday from King's College Taunton - OAs and Friends – A lovely old photo of King’s staff. No idea where or when this was taken. It looks very much like a CCF trip, with a youthful looking Mr Cole!
Recently found this in my fathers belongings. He attended 1940-42, along with his brother.
I was out on my permitted one piece of outside exercise today (a bike ride) when I suddenly thought of Exeats. Having to get an Exeat Chit signed by your Housemaster to go into town on Weds or Sat PM and return it to the Prefects' Study on return. Do students still have to do those or is it all on line these days?
To engage more in reading for pleasure, using kindly donated , and an audible subscription, Third Form pupils pulled up a chair in our library and commenced reading by . Our thanks go to our King's College Taunton - OAs and Friends for the donation.

My father attended Kings College. You very kindly sent me some information, thankyou.
I'm assuming this is the school uniform from probably 1938 ish?!
Please can you confirm?
I adore this picture, he looks so happy!
Great to meet Oliver Fox (Woodard, depressingly recent) collecting his Hawks Trust award (some funding to assist with costs of elite sport) this evening here in Cambridge. He had to dash off for a training session preparing for GB U23 racing and seems to be thoroughly enjoying the sporting and academic mix here in Cambridge. He would have made Graeme Hall proud.
