Good luck to all the young people receiving their GCSE and other Level 1 and 2 qualification results today.
Results day can bring a mix of emotions. While many young people will be celebrating their achievements, we recognise things don't always go as planned. If a young person's results aren't what they hoped for, it's important to remember that there are many routes to a successful and rewarding future.

There are SO MANY different courses they can attend in the future, depending which way they would like their career to develop - they can even study with us to achieve an Honours Degree!

Know a young person with SEND or additional needs who has great ideas and wants to explore self-employment?
Starting in September, Enterprise Lab is a 12-week programme based in Taunton that uses practical projects and enterprise activities to help young people build confidence, develop workplace skills, and explore the possibilities of self-employment.
The programme, delivered by SS&L, is designed for young people with SEND or additional needs* who are looking to progress into education, employment, or training. It is ideal for those who thrive on hands-on learning, want to build independence and confidence, and are interested in enterprise, freelancing, or starting their own business.

Congratulations to Harrison on winning the Supported Employee of the Year Award!
Harrison has an exemplary attitude to his work. As a Supported Intern on the Health and Social Care Supported Internship with UCS College Group and Bridgwater Hospital, his colleagues describe him as polite, hardworking and a pleasure to work with. His positive approach and commitment have had a real impact on team morale, and those around him have been inspired by the progress he has made. Although new environments and expectations can sometimes feel overwhelming, Harrison approaches every challenge with determination. He never gives up, always willing to listen, learn and keep moving forward.
Harrison's journey and success have been recognised beyond the workplace, helping to inspire wider awareness and celebration of the programme across NHS Somerset Foundation Trust. His achievements have attracted television, radio and local newspaper coverage, as well as award nominations.
