At our Wellington Road Nursery in Taunton we are so proud to celebrate being awarded Mama Bear's Nursery of the Month! 🎉
To mark the occasion, our amazing team spent some well-deserved time together enjoying pizza and bowling 🍕🎳
A huge thank you to every member of our practitioner team for your hard work, dedication, care, and positivity every single day. This achievement wouldn’t be possible without the incredible effort you all put into supporting our children and families.

At our Wellington Road Nursery in Taunton we had incredible day at our Open Day “Glasto Fest”! 🌟🎶🐐

We loved welcoming so many wonderful families and friends to celebrate with us. From glitter tattoos and bubbles to tasty snacks and music from our DJ, there was such a fun atmosphere all day long! ✨🎧🍿

A huge highlight was the very special visit from Dexter the goat, who definitely stole a few hearts! 🐐💛
Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day so special. It was lovely to see such an amazing turnout and to share so many smiles, laughs, and happy memories together.
We’re already looking forward to the next one! 💕

At our Wellington Road Nursery in Taunton our little ones have been busy exploring their creative sides as we celebrated VE Day! 🎨

From painting bright, cheerful pictures to making their very own flags, the children have been learning about this important day in a fun and hands-on way.
It’s been wonderful to see their curiosity, imagination, and teamwork shining through in every activity!
A big well done to all our budding artists — your masterpieces are truly spectacular! 🌈💫

At our Wellington Road Nursery in Taunton we celebrated a very special milestone — the 100th birthday of Sir David Attenborough! 🌍🦋🐢

Our Preschool children have been learning all about Sir David Attenborough and his incredible work helping people understand, love, and protect our planet and wildlife. We explored animals, nature, oceans, and the importance of caring for the world around us. 🌱
To celebrate, the children worked together to create a beautiful birthday card filled with their drawings, messages, and lots of love for Sir David. 💚🎉 Their creativity and enthusiasm were wonderful to see!
We are so proud of our little learners for showing such kindness, curiosity, and appreciation for the natural world.
Happy 100th Birthday, Sir David Attenborough — thank you for inspiring generations to care for our planet!

The children at our Wellington Road Nursery in Taunton have been very excited this week - our adopted donkey had a birthday!
We spoke about what kind of fun birthday things a donkey may like to do for their birthday and what kind of yummy treats they may want to eat!

The babies at our Wellington Road Nursery in Taunton have been loving developing their physical skills in the sunshine.
They have been learning to climb the steps of the slide and all over the soft play – with a cheeky game of peek-a-boo of course.

Today our little learners at our Wellington Road Nursery in Taunton said a very special goodbye to the ladybirds we’ve been caring for 🐞

We watched them grow, counted their spots, and talked about their beautiful colours before setting them free into the garden in the lovely warm sunshine! The children were full of excitement and curiosity, carefully observing each tiny detail and sharing their thoughts with one another.
This experience supported our EYFS learning by encouraging:
🌿 Understanding the world – exploring living things and life cycles
🔢 Mathematics – counting spots and comparing numbers
🎨 Expressive arts and design – talking about colours and patterns
💬 Communication and language – describing what we could see and sharing ideas
A wonderful hands-on moment of discovery, curiosity and care for the natural world 💚

At our Wellington Road Nursery in Taunton we are reading our Mini Minds Matter book of the month: The Creativeasaurus.
The Bouncy Room children were then very excited to explore some colourful, fun, messy play. They used swotters and spoons to splat the paint, watching the shaving foam fly and the colours mix.

At Wellington Road we are celebrating a very special birthday.
Our lovely baby room leader is turning 21!
From all of the little ones (with a little help from us grown-ups! 😉), we want to say a BIG thank you for all the cuddles, giggles, stories, and love you share every single day. You make our days brighter, our smiles bigger, and our hearts so happy 💕

At our Wellington Road Nursery in Taunton we celebrated National Hungry Caterpillar Day in the most fun way possible! 🐛🍎

The Bouncies enjoyed reading 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' together and talked all about the different foods our little caterpillar loves to munch on—he was VERY hungry indeed! The children had a fantastic time feeding our very own caterpillar, carefully using their hands to pick up and offer each tasty treat extending our vocabulary through conversations of colors and textures.
Not only was it lots of fun, but it also helped us build our fine motor skills—tiny hands working hard while big imaginations grew! 🌱✨
Safe to say… our caterpillar is now VERY full and our children are VERY proud 💚
