That’s a wrap for us, Julie’s Childminding is officially OUT for summer! ☀️🥳

It’s been a longggg term filled with so many adventures, giggles, cuddles and special memories, and we honestly wouldn’t have it any other way! 🥰

Here’s a little look at some of the things the children have been getting up to… 💕✨

Recently the children have been enjoying lots of summer activities, including water play 💦, visits to the river, trips to the field 🌳, playing in the sand 🏖️ , picnics 🧺, and many other fun outdoor experiences.

Alongside building the bug house 🐜🐛, the children have enjoyed playing outside. They’ve had fun in the garden 🪴, going to the beach 🏖️, having picnics 🍓🍰🍊, playing with crazy foam, and exploring. On the hotter days, they enjoyed playing with lots of water to help them cool down 💦

This month, the children showed an interest in bugs, insects, and where they live. They asked to make a big bug house, so we made one together. 🐞🐛🐜

The children enjoyed going on walks to collect leaves 🍃 , sticks 🪵, grass, and flowers 🌸 to put inside the bug house. They also enjoyed learning about the different bugs and insects that might come to live there.

The children had lots of fun collecting the materials, building the bug house, painting it, and decorating it 🎨🖌️. They have really enjoyed this activity and love going into the garden to see what bugs and other little creatures have visited their bug house.

The children have enjoyed playing with lots of water play 💦, going to the park 🛝🌳, visiting the supermarkets to collect ingredients for their teas and snacks 🛒🍎🥪, going to the field 🌿☀️, meeting up with other local childminders 👧👦🤝, colouring 🎨🖍️, and lots more! 💛😊
