☀️ An Amber Heat Health Alert is in place across the South West from 9am on Wednesday 8 July until 9pm on Sunday 12 July.
While many people will enjoy the warmer weather, high temperatures can affect some people more than others, particularly older residents, young children and those with existing health conditions.
A few simple steps can help you stay safe:
💧 Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated
🏠 Keep homes cool where possible
❤️ Check on friends, family and neighbours who may need extra support
🍺 If you're enjoying the football and a few drinks this weekend, remember alcohol can contribute to dehydration in hot weather
🌊 Take care around rivers, lakes and other open water. Even on warm days, cold water shock and hidden hazards can pose serious risks.

🟠⚠️ An Amber Heat-Health Alert has been issued across the Midlands and southern England, with a Yellow Heat-Health Alert in place across Yorkshire and northern England. These alerts will be in place until Sunday 12 July.

🐝Happy World Bee Day! 🐝

At Preschool we are beginning to recognise the importance of National Bee Day by engaging in fun and educational activities that teach them about the vital role bees play in pollinating flowers, growing fruits and vegetables, and keeping our environment healthy, helping them develop an early appreciation for nature and the need to protect these essential pollinators. 🐝💐

A great big THANK YOU to for their generous donation of flowers.
