Role details: Salary - £28,080.00 per annum, permanent, 40 hours a week on a rota basis working 5 days out of 7, all year round.

🥗 Catering Assistant - assisting with the smooth running of the catering dept, including preparation of cold food, maintaining clean work spaces and assisting with meal service.

Role details: Salary - £12.40 per hour, permanent, 40 hours a week on a rota basis working 5 days out of 7, term time only.

The Head of Operations & Facilities is a unique and busy position, responsible for leading the day-to-day provision of the services that support the school, along with your team who manage transport, catering, housekeeping, site security and caretaking, and our sports club & swim school. This role is a crucial role, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently – put simply, you keep the school ticking!

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, and sitting on the Operational & Business Services Management team, you will drive continuous improvement and innovation, ensuring the delivery of operational excellence.

The post is permanent and full-time. The core hours are 37.5 per week however this role requires someone with the flexibility to work as per the operation demands.

Congratulations everyone who has reached a milestone!

We recently celebrated staff reaching their long service milestones in the Operations and Facilities departments.

18 members of staff were recognised for their service of between 5 and 42 years, for roles ranging from bus drivers, IT staff, catering, school keepers, boarding staff and many more.

💫WE ARE HIRING💫

We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our friendly and professional team. As an integral member of the team, you will contribute to the provision of a quality catering service whilst adhering to health and safety standards.

This is a busy role, supporting the preparation of meals for our Day and Boarding community using fresh and locally sourced ingredients. As Chef, you will prepare meals following recipe specification on quantity, portion and quality in a timely manner taking guidance and instruction from the Head and Senior Chef on meal preparation, production and service.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a real passion for cooking with fresh locally sourced produce and will work positively with a professional team of Chefs, supporting and leading the junior members of the team. You will need to be organised, self-motivated and able to work well under pressure. You will possess a minimum Level 1 and Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering and have a good standard of literacy and numeracy. A City and Guilds 706/1, 706/2 or NVQ equivalent is desirable.
