🦖Dinosaur Adventures in Nursery🦕

This week, the children have shown a huge interest in dinosaurs, so we decided to bring the prehistoric world to life in our nursery.🌿🦕

We went on an exciting Dino Egg Hunt 🥚, decorated our very own dinosaur egg 🎨, and enjoyed lots of wonderful imaginative play as we became little palaeontologists and dinosaur explorers. 🔍🦕

It has been fantastic to see the children's creativity, curiosity and imaginations grow as they explored all things dinosaur. What an amazing week of roaring fun!🦕💚

🍽️🥛Meal Times 🍎🥪

Meal times are about so much more than food - they provide wonderful opportunities for children to develop independence, confidence and friendships. 💛

We encourage children to take an active role at mealtimes, from cutting and preparing their own fruit to share with friends, serving their own food and pouring their own drinks. These small moments help children build valuable self - help skills and sense of independence.

Meal times are also a lovely opportunity for children to connect with one another. Sitting together around the table naturally encourages conversation , sharing ideas and building friendships. 🥰

It's wonderful to see how these everyday routines support children's development while creating positive and enjoyable social experiences. ✨😘

Nursery is such a wonderful place for children to develop their social skills, build confidence and, most importantly make special friendships that can last a lifetime. ✨
Through play, sharing, exploring and learning together, our little ones are learning how to communicate, take turns, help one another and build those all important relationships 🧸🎨🥰
It's lovely to wat friendships blossom as children laugh, play and create precious memories together. 💕🌸

What a glorious week we've had in Explorers and Inventors!💛

We've been embracing all things summer through lots of fun, hands on activities.
From exploring the ocean and discovering all the wonderful creatures that live beneath the waves 🐠🐬🦈, to creating our very own ice creams ready for a trip to the beach.
We've also been making the most of the beautiful sunshine, enjoying in our very own garden 🍃🌞😎.

It's been a wonderful week full of sunshine, smiles, exploring and lots of summer fun!💛☀

✨Personal, Social and Emotional Development in Explorers. ✨

Our Explorers have had a fantastic time taking part in lots of activities to support their personal, social and emotional development.

From learning about germs and the importance of washing our hands🫱, to caring for our babies by giving them a bath 🛁, Explorers have been developing their understanding of looking after themselves and others.
They have also been practising putting on their own shoes 👟 and helping to apply their sun- cream, building confidence and independence along the way.

Personal, Social and Emotional Development is such an important part of the EYFS, and we've had so much fun exploring these valuable life skills through play.
