The best day for our annual nursery trip to Vivary park!
The children loved ‘buying’ their bus tickets, recognising familiar sights, feeding the ducks and squirrels, stories, a picnic, ice creams and exploring both parks before catching the bus home again!
The children were so incredibly well behaved and there was fantastic listening all day! ☀️♥️🛝🦆🐿️

We have been absolutely overwhelmed by the number of enquiries we’ve received recently – thank you! 🤎
To ensure the children currently in our care can continue enjoying uninterrupted days of play, exploration and learning, we’re holding a Little Wildlings Open Morning instead of arranging individual visits during nursery hours.
This gives prospective families the opportunity to experience our beautiful setting, explore our outdoor learning spaces, meet our team and ask any questions in a relaxed, welcoming environment—without disrupting the children’s day.
Whether you’re already considering Little Wildlings or you’re simply curious to see what we’re all about, we’d love to welcome you. 🍃

Red weather warning-adjustments to nursery sessions
Dear Parents and Carers,
Due to the red weather warning for extreme heat, we have made the difficult decision to close the nursery earlier on Wednesday and Thursday this week. The nursery will remain open until 12.30pm on both days.
Although we are fortunate to have air conditioning and shaded outdoor areas, we feel it will become increasingly difficult to safely meet all children’s individual needs during the hottest part of the day.
In particular, balancing the needs of children who require sleep indoors alongside those who do not nap and also need to remain inside during peak temperatures presents significant challenges for both the children’s comfort and wellbeing.
Due to the hot weather, we will also be making a temporary change to the menu and providing a cold lunch, such as sandwiches, instead of our usual cooked hot meal.
The safety and welfare of the children and staff must remain our priority, and we appreciate your understanding and support with these decisions.
Please note that fees will remain chargeable, as this situation falls under our policy regarding sudden or unexpected closure due to adverse weather conditions.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Kind regards,
Naomi and Sarah

We have had a fabulous training day! We started the morning with a team meeting and updates on planning, development and display boards (complete with cuddles with our little chicks 🐣) followed by a wonderful forest school training session provided by Learning through landscapes- all staff were trained in using fire steels to light fires and we were given fresh insights and ideas to carry out with the children and also some super fun team building activities 💪🌳❤️🍃🔥
