🎃 Tattershall Pumpkin Patch Scarecrow Competition 2026 🎃
Can you build the most imaginative scarecrow in Lincolnshire? We're inviting you to help us decorate Tattershall Pumpkin Patch this October and have some fun in the process.
Tag a school, nursery, community group, scout group or business and any families you think have the imagination and skills to enter.
Whether they're funny, spooky, traditional or completely bonkers... there are no limits to your imagination!
The bigger, bolder and more creative, the better. Just make sure your scarecrow is weatherproof and suitable for outdoor display throughout the festival. We'd love to see your scarecrows made using recycled and sustainable materials wherever possible.

EITHER
🎁 A Family Annual Farm Park Membership for up to 4 people
OR
🎁 A FREE School or Group Visit to Tattershall Farm Park for up to 30 individuals.
🎉 PLUS... EVERY Scarecrow entered into the competition and delivered by 2nd October will receive a FREE Family Day Pass for up to 4 people as a thank you for taking part!

Once you are registered we can keep in touch and nearer the time tell you everything you need to know about delivering your scarecrow.
📅 Important Dates
🚜 Scarecrows to be delivered by: Friday 2nd October 2026
🍂 On display: Throughout October where thousands of visitors (and some of their pooches) will enjoy our Scarecrow Trail Pumpkin Patch and Maize Maze.
🌟 Voting & Judging
Throughout October visitors will be invited to vote for their favourite scarecrow.
The scarecrows receiving the most visitor votes will then be shortlisted, before our Special Judging Panel selects the overall winner based on:

🛠️ Craftsmanship
✨ Overall visual impact
🏆 The Tattershall Farm Park Pumpkin Patch Scarecrow Champion 2026 will be announced during the final weekend of the Pumpkin Patch
So gather your old clothes, straw, recycled materials and plenty of imagination... then help us fill the Pumpkin Patch with incredible scarecrows for thousands of visitors to enjoy.

Terms & Conditions
* Entry is FREE.
* Open to schools, nurseries, retirement homes, community groups, Scout groups, businesses and families.
* Scarecrows should be predominantly made from recycled or sustainable materials where possible.
* Entries must be suitable for outdoor display throughout October.
* Tattershall Farm Park reserves the right to remove any entry deemed unsafe or inappropriate.
* One FREE Family Day Pass (for up to 4 people) will be issued per scarecrow entry.
* The judges' decision is final.
