For a moment, you could almost forget you’re on the ground.

Circling Phoenix Sky Harbor from the flight deck of a Boeing 747-400 - the light, the detail, the sound, the sheer scale of it all.

This is what we wanted to recreate at 744 Experience.

Not just a simulator.
An experience that makes you feel like you’re actually there. ✈️

✈️ Our first 2027 Dining Dates are here.

Experience Business Class dining, without leaving the ground.

Upon arrival at 744 Experience, you’ll step aboard our original Boeing 747-400 Upper Deck, where you’ll be welcomed with a glass of Ch*****ne served at your seat.

After a short taxi and safety demonstration, you’ll be “airborne” and settling into the cruise - with beautifully prepared food, attentive cabin service and the unmistakable atmosphere of travelling on a Jumbo Jet.

Whether it’s a special afternoon with someone you love, an evening with friends, or a truly different gift for someone who loves fine dining, travel or aviation, this is an experience unlike any other.

July 2004. South Africa 🇿🇦

G-BNLJ, captured during a stop at Johannesburg on a special fuel run.

These wonderful photographs from 2004 were kindly shared with us by a former British Airways 747 pilot, offering a fascinating glimpse into the working life of one of BA’s iconic 747-400s.

Our grateful thanks to the flight crew for allowing us to share these memories from over twenty years ago.

If you have photographs of the British Airways 747-400 fleet sitting in your archives, we’d love to see them.
Send them to us by DM here, or by email -

An iconic aircraft, an incredible chapter of aviation history - and one that we’re incredibly proud to have played a very small part in preserving 😊
