🎭 Talent gets you noticed. Professionalism gets you remembered.

In the creative industries, having a strong voice and the ability to perform are important - but so are preparation, communication, reliability and how you work with others.

Whether you're auditioning, presenting, teaching or stepping into a new opportunity, people remember more than what you can do.

They remember how you show up.

What do you think makes someone stand out in the creative industry?

👅 Tuesday Tongue Twister time!

Ready to put your articulation to the test?

“Crisp crackers crackle clearly, creating crunchy, crispy crumbs.”

Try it slowly first, focusing on every sound. Then gradually build up your speed without losing your clarity!

🎭 How many times can you say it perfectly?

Happy Monday!

This week we're focussing on impact.

Remember, you don’t need to be the loudest person in the room to make an impact.

Sometimes, it’s about slowing down.
Choosing your words.
Using your voice with intention.

And having the confidence to let people hear you.

Whether you’re speaking in a meeting, giving a presentation, performing on stage or simply having a conversation, how you communicate matters.

This week, don’t focus on speaking louder.

Focus on speaking with clarity, confidence and purpose.

Your voice has something worth saying. ✨

🎙️ Friday Feeling: Your voice tells a story.

Every voice has something to say.

It can reveal excitement, confidence, nerves, warmth, humour or emotion - sometimes before the words even land.

Whether you’re performing on stage, presenting at work, telling a story or having an everyday conversation, how you use your voice helps bring your story to life.

So this weekend, think about the stories you tell - and what your voice is saying alongside them.

Your voice is part of the story. Make it count. ✨

👅 Tuesday Tongue Twister

Can you keep your T’s, D’s and R’s under control?

“Thirty-three thirsty dragons drank three drops of dry dragon’s dew.” 🐉

Start slowly. Get every sound clear.
Then… speed it up! 👀

How many times can you say it without getting tangled?

Monday reminder: you don’t have to feel ready.

Sometimes confidence comes after you take the step, not before.

Speak up. Have the conversation. Try the thing. Put yourself forward.

You might surprise yourself with what happens when you stop waiting to feel confident and start acting like you’re capable.

🎭 Your voice matters. Use it.

🎭 Friday Focus: Acting is about more than performing.

Acting teaches us to listen, connect and communicate with intention; skills that are just as valuable off stage as they are on it.

Whether you’re preparing for an audition, working towards an Acting exam, or building confidence in everyday communication, acting can help you find your voice and use it with confidence.

We also prepare Students for Acting exams with the University of West London.

Don’t just say the words. Connect with them. 🎬

Back to work after the Bank Holiday weekend? ☕️

If you’re feeling like you need another day to get back into the swing of things, you’re definitely not alone!

Remember, you don’t have to tackle everything at once. Take a breath, get organised, and focus on one thing at a time. 💪

A new week is a fresh opportunity to use your voice, build your confidence and take one small step towards your goals.

You’ve got this! 🎤✨

👅 Tuesday Tongue Twister!

Ready to put your articulation, clarity and diction to the test?

This week’s challenge:

Six sleek swans swam swiftly southwards.

Try it slowly first, making sure every sound is clear.

Then gradually increase your speed - but remember, speed isn’t the goal if clarity disappears!

💡 Voice tip: Focus on the *S* and *SW* sounds. Keep your mouth active and articulate each word rather than rushing through the sentence.

How many times can you say it clearly without getting tongue-tied? 😜

Give it a go and let us know how you get on!

💭 Thursday Thought 💭

You don’t have to see the whole staircase to take the next step.

Sometimes, progress simply means trusting yourself enough to keep moving forward, even when you’re not sure exactly where the path will lead.

Take the next step. Then the next. 🌱

Keep going - you’re further than you think.
