⭐️THANK YOU⭐️ What an emotional month August has been , I have had some very special goodbyes as my little gems move onto their next chapter and start School or Pre School.❤️

I am so lucky and blessed to do the job I do, I love watching each and everyone grow and develop through the different stages, I am so proud of what they have achieved during their time at Little Hollies.❤️

I would like to thank all my lovely parents for trusting me to play a part in their children’s early years . Thank you for your kind gifts and card with very kind words ❤️

It’s now time for me to take a break with my family before welcoming my new families in September, I can not wait to start a new year of fun, learning, adventures and making some special memories ❤️

☀️What a fantastic July we have had at Little Hollies Childminding ☀️

July has been packed with fun, adventure and lots of wonderful learning opportunities

We have enjoyed
🐒 Days out at the Zoo, learning about different animals
🌺 Visit to the beautiful Arley Gardens , the Children used new words and explored nature admiring the beautiful flowers and gardens
🚂 An exciting train adventure, giving the Children a chance to experience different forms of transport
🫟 Paint walking in the garden
🌳 Exciting visit to our favourite Wild Acres where the Children have so many learning opportunities

Back at Little Hollies we have been doing lots of fine motor activities to help strengthen little hands through threading, cutting, tweezers and creative crafts

We have had a wonderful July and now I am looking forward to a week off to enjoy with my family ❤️

☀️What a fantastic month June has been at Little Hollies Childminding ☀️

We have made the most of the beautiful sunshine while making sure my little ones remained safe in the extreme heat, lots of fluids, sun cream, hats, shaded walks and water play we enjoyed every moment of our outdoor adventures

This months experiences include

🐒fun filled trips to the zoo
🌳Keeping cool with shaded walks in the forest
🚤Adventure at Fablewood nature play
🔥Outdoor learning at wild acres forest school
🎶Singing and dancing with Jo Jingles
🧘Wellness in the wild sessions
📚Storytime and exploring new books at the library

Back at Little Hollies, the Children have loved the new mud kitchen!! It has inspired so much imaginative play, from mixing magical potions and creating mud pies to carrying out lots of exciting experiments.
It has been great watching their creativity , communication and teamwork flourish through open ended play.

We can not wait to see what July has in store for us apart from some special birthdays among the team

🌡️Important 🌡️ Hot weather reminder for parents…..

Please do not cover your prams or pushchairs with blankets, muslins or any other fabrics during this hot weather

While it can seem it provides shade, covering a pram actually grapes heat inside causing temperature to rise quickly and reduce airflow

What a magical month May has been here at Little Hollies ☀️

It has been none stop exploring in the lovely weather, lots of trips out including the Zoo, Jo jingles music classes, museums, forest walks and lots of pic nics in the park 🍌🍎🍓

We have made the most of the weather by spending lots of time in the garden and exploring the new mud kitchen, the children have been making potions, pies, cakes and even potted some flowers 🌷

The highlight of our month was watching the wonders of nature unfold, the children have watched tiny caterpillars turn into beautiful butterflies and our swimming tadpoles grow their legs to become frogs 🐸 🦋

I can not wait to see what adventures June will bring ……

Little Hollies has a rare opportunity for new friends to join our home from home setting from September

I pride myself in offering lots of learning opportunities from daily trips out, we are always trying new adventures as well as offering the excitement of our regular classes

I keep my numbers low to ensure each child gets the one to one attention, cuddles and tailored support they deserve from birth to school age

Everyday is full of laughter, discovery and adventure - the perfect balance of play and early learning

This week has been filled with fun in the forest exploring, discovering and soaking up what felt like spring air !

The children made a veg soup peeling, chopping, sorting and of course tasting 😋

Today was last min change of plans due to road closures but we had a great time at the local park where we looked for worms and bugs using a magnifying glass and a very competitive game of “what’s the time Mr Wolf “ encouraging lots of turn taking

Looking forward to new adventures next week when we will be celebrating Wirld book day
