🏖️ ANNUAL LEAVE!!! 😎

After a really busy but hugely enjoyable first 10 months of The Safety Net, I’m officially taking some time off to enjoy a holiday with the family! 🇫🇷☀️

I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has believed in me and trusted The Safety Net to deliver the training you and your organisations needed. It genuinely means a lot! ❤️

But before I switch off completely… 👀

⚽ SPORTS CLUBS — THIS ONE’S FOR YOU!

As a coach myself, I know that a lot of first aid training for coaches is completed online.

But knowing what to do and actually practising it are two very different things.

If you’re a sports club and you’d like your coaches to have some practical, hands-on first aid training, I’d love to hear from you.

We can tailor sessions around your club, your coaches and the situations you’re most likely to face — from injuries and bleeding to CPR and using an AED.

We also continue to offer First Aid and Personal Safety courses for businesses, schools, sports clubs and community groups.

We’re flexible and happy to work around your requirements rather than simply delivering a one-size-fits-all course.

Looking forward to being back at Woodrush High School tomorrow to finish off the second day of the First Aid at Work course.

We are delighted to announce that Tamworth’s Big Fun Day raised an amazing £5,001.02!

After covering the essential event costs and services required to make the day happen, we now have our final total ready to be shared between our fantastic charities and causes:

🩷 SMDA - Sinitta Marie Dance Academy Fundraiser

A huge thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, booked a stall space, donated to our collection buckets, and came along to support the event. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, helped make this achievement possible.

We would also like to say an enormous thank you to our amazing volunteers. Every single volunteer is a parent/guardian/grandparent of an SMDA dancer, and without their help, this day could not have taken place. They worked tirelessly behind the scenes before, during, and after the event to ensure the day was packed full of fun for everyone. We couldn’t have done it without you 💙

It was a fantastic day (and a very hot one too! ☀️), and it was wonderful to see our community come together in such a positive way.

Thank you once again for supporting us and helping us support these worthy local charities and causes. This truly was community spirit at its very best! 🌟

Here at Tamworth's Big Fun Day 2025 and all set up! It’s gonna be a hot one! Please stay hydrated! If you suspect heat exhaustion get yourself or the casualty into the shade, plenty of fluids, cool the skin down with cold water and remove any unnecessary clothing!

Another excellent course this week with the NBA UK team in London with CARMS. Thank you for making me feel welcome and the hospitality you showed! Both courses were really enjoyable to teach and the time flew by!

Ridiculously early start as had to get from a great weekend with the family at Center Parcs to catch the train to London for the second first aid course with NBA. Note the first aid trainers job is never done in the pics! 😂😂
