Autumn term champions! 🌟

Here at Learn with Laura, we use Spelling Frame, a fab game based programme to learn spellings! To say it’s been a hit with the children is an understatement, they absolutely love it! So much so that I wanted to reward them meaning each half term, the top three children get a prize. 2nd and 3rd = prize box prize. 1st prize = something more personal!

A won the first half term and is football mad so my choice of prize for him was well received! H won just before Christmas and has decided to follow the theme of books with a Dork Diaries she can’t wait to read!

The competition is already on for Spring 1 and the children are flying through their spellings, proud tutor right here! 🥹

Summer learning but make it fun ✨

Blown away that I’ve been busier in the holidays than during term time this summer 🤯 with my regular children and children from my waiting list!

Summertime means summer fairs and I’ve found some fab books and toys to use in our sessions! My book of the month was this whale book for writing inspo! ✍🏻

The absolute favourite though are the foam ball guns! So versatile, anything that can go on the back of the door, we shoot! 🔫

My daughter’s duplo has also been super handy too… 🙊

I have been a little quiet on here…

Introducing the newest addition to my team! 😂 Ozias is now 10 weeks old and I’ve already been back tutoring since he was 4 weeks old! 🤪 I’m finding my feet as a mum of 2 now so expect more updates of what we get up to in lessons as well as a much needed update about who I am and why I do what I do!

Thank you to all the families of my tutees for their support, it’s been fab to be back with the children! 🥰
