Lift Tamworth Lift Tamworth formally Tamworth Enterprise College. Please note, we are a different school to Lift Rawlett. I hope you find our website helpful.

🌟 Whole School Rewards – Celebrating Success! 🌟

This morning, we celebrated the fantastic efforts of our top 25 students in Years 7–10 who achieved the highest culture scores! 🎉👏

Our students enjoyed a well-deserved reward, with time to watch a film, relax with some downtime on laptops, and tuck into some sweet treats 🍿💻🍬

Culture scores reflect the positive choices students make each day, with points awarded for positive behaviours and deducted for sanctions. It was brilliant to recognise and reward those students who have demonstrated such a positive approach to school life.

A huge well done to all our students who earned their place today! Keep making positive choices, showing respect, and contributing to our school community. 🌟

🎄 And a special mention for our brilliant Year 11 students! They have an extra-special treat to look forward to, with a trip to the Nottingham Christmas Markets next term! 🎅✨ We can’t wait for them to enjoy this festive experience!

Looking for a school place for September? At Lift Tamworth we are opening The Orion Phase, a dedicated Y7 hub within our school. Y7 will have their own toilets, social spaces and their own classroom. Instead of moving to secondary school and having to cope with up to 16 different teachers and classrooms, our Y7 will have no more than 6 teachers and will only move to access our brilliant facilities: the swimming pool, the theatre, the science labs, cooking room, kiln and 3G pitch.
We want every child to be known, seen and valued - something you can't get when your child is one of 300. The Orion Phase is unique to our school and compliments the already successful 26 enrichment clubs, free uniform for every year 7, free breakfast and breakfast club and our unique focus on virtues, such as being BIG hearted.

Year 7 Rewards 🍕 🌟

Well done to our wonderful Year 7 students who have attended school everyday this term.

Students were part of a wheel spin over the last few weeks. 100% attendance and 100% over 2 week period.

Those winners were treated to a pizza party with Mr Mullholland.

Parental update from the London trip

The pupils have had a brilliant time. After our tour of the Houses of Parliament, we went to Downing Street- the home of the Prime Minister.

We even saw the Chief “Mouse” to the cabinet office outside- Larry the Cat.

We have just stopped at services outside of London. Pupils are due back at Lift Tamworth at 6.30pm

🏛️ A Fantastic Day at the Houses of Parliament! 🇬🇧

A huge thank you to Miss Miles, Miss Shepherd and Mr Thickbroom, who today took 30 of our Student Council members on an exciting and educational visit to the Houses of Parliament! 👏

This was a fantastic opportunity for our students to learn more about how our country is governed, explore the heart of British democracy and gain a greater understanding of how decisions are made that affect our everyday lives.

Experiences like this are invaluable in helping our students develop their knowledge of politics, citizenship and democracy, while also encouraging them to think about the important role they can play in shaping the future of their school and wider community. 🌟

We are incredibly proud of our Student Council for getting involved, representing their fellow students and making the most of this wonderful opportunity. It is so important that our young people feel empowered to have their voices heard and understand that their opinions and ideas matter.

Thank you again to Miss Miles, Miss Shepherd and Mr Thickbroom for organising and supporting this memorable experience. We hope all 30 students enjoyed their visit and returned to school inspired by what they have learned! 💙
