Whilst out and about today on our adventures the wildlings spotted a crane..
what’s that doing there?
How heavy are the gates if they need a machine?
Wonder how it moves?
One of the children even spotted the guys had a jacket like us on..
this sparked lots of conversation around the types of jobs we need machines to help us with and about how we need to be safe and seen when we are out and about..
this was all done on an everyday adventure here at Little Wildlings.. 🥰

Today we went out and about Exploring our local park..
We did a Listening walk, where the children used their senses to identify and discuss different sounds such as birds singing, leaves rustling, dogs barking, and traffic in the distance. They shared their thoughts with each other developing listening skills, language, curiosity, and an understanding of the natural world while enhancing their physical development through outdoor exploration.

We finished off with a picnic under the trees ready for the walk home 🌴🌿

🍃Communication and Language: encourage discussion and vocabulary development.
🍃Personal, Social and Emotional Development: Children build confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging within their community.
🍃Safety Awareness: They learn important road safety skills and how to behave safely in public places.
🍃Maths Opportunities to count houses, vehicles, signs, or compare sizes and distances.
🍃Literacy Recognising environmental print such as road signs, shop names, and numbers- our older children spotted the letters in their names on the park sign.
