👨🏼‍🏫 Half-term 👨🏼‍🏫

📢 I take 1 week for half-term (the week beginning 26th October).

🏫 I know some schools take 2 weeks off for this break, however, these children return to school in August whereas I didn’t reopen until September.

👨🏼‍🏫 I believe I’ve rearranged all lessons for anyone who attends these schools to have a different session time this week.

📱 If you’d like to move your lesson time, just let me know.

🏝️ Over half-term, I’m open on Sunday 25th October, Monday 26th October and Sunday 1st November.

🏖️ February Holiday Club 🧮

👨🏼‍🏫 Next February will see my first ever holiday club.

✍️ This club is for Key Stage 2 pupils (Year 3 - 6) who don’t want to attend the normal sport-based holiday clubs.

🤔 This club will be for children who want to complete maths projects with bags of cross-curricular links (art, DT, English etc).

💭 Why is this club different to those currently offered?

✅ They will run from 8am - 4pm.
✅ The numbers will be capped at just 12 pupils per day.
✅ The club will be run by a fully qualified teacher (me).
✅ The focus will on project orientated, class-based work.

📍 A location has already been sourced at a Tamworth primary school.

🙏 Do not feel like your child has to be ‘top of the class’ - all abilities are welcomed.

🥰 Your child just needs to have a love for learning inside the classroom.

👀 Keep your eyes peeled for booking - I’d like to get this sorted before Christmas.

😔 It’s sad to see how poorly TAs are treated.

👨🏼‍🏫 I had some truly phenomenal TAs who made my job so much easier: Elliott, Dawn, Linda and Vicci.

👩‍🏫 These staff empowered childrens’ learning and their impact on pupils’ life is truly immeasurable.

💰 It’s disappointing to see ‘CEOs’ running trusts into millions of pounds worth of debt whilst earning 6-figure sums.

💴 Many TAs are paid extremely poorly despite the fact that many have much more of an impact on childrens’ learning than any ‘CEO’ does.

🍾 Three cheers to a fair and healthy distribution of wages across staff working in our schools.
