Welcome Back, Dosthill!

What a fantastic start to the new school year! 🎉

It has been wonderful to welcome our children back to school after the summer break and to see so many happy, smiling faces arriving this morning. The excitement, enthusiasm and energy around school have been amazing, and the children have made a brilliant start to the year. 😊

Throughout the morning, classrooms have been full of learning, laughter and new opportunities as children settled into their new year groups and got to know their teachers and classmates.

A huge thank you to our families for helping the children arrive ready for a successful start. We are incredibly proud of how well everyone has settled back into school routines and look forward to an exciting year ahead.

Here's to a fantastic year of learning, growth and achievement at Dosthill Primary Academy! 🌟

As we reach the end of another fantastic year, I would like to congratulate our pupils, staff and families on a full set of nationally measured outcomes that are above national averages and reflect the hard work, dedication and ambition that define our school community.

While results are important, we are equally proud of the progress our children have made, the confidence they have gained and the resilience they have shown throughout the year.

It is also wonderful to see strong outcomes being achieved across our Trust schools, reflecting our shared commitment to improving opportunities and outcomes for every child.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to another successful year at Dosthill. We wish all of our pupils, families, staff and the wider community a safe, happy and restful summer break.

⭐ Celebration Assembly. Friday 26th June ⭐

It has been another positive week in school, despite the very hot weather, and we are incredibly proud of how well the children have coped during the recent heatwave. ☀️

Across the school, pupils have remained focused, calm and sensible, showing resilience and maturity while continuing with their learning. They have done a great job of looking after themselves and each other, while still demonstrating our school values each day.

In todays assembly we celebrated our Stars of the Week, recognising those who have stood out for their hard work, positive attitudes and commitment to learning, even in challenging conditions.

Well done to all of our stars and to every child for their effort and determination this week. We are looking forward to the weeks ahead as we continue through the final part of the term.

⚽ World Cup Day – Tomorrow⚽
A quick reminder that tomorrow is our World Cup themed day in school.
Children are invited to wear red, white or blue, an England kit or their favourite World Cup team kit. We are looking forward to a day full of fun, including penalty shoot-outs and a creative kit design challenge.
We cannot wait to see everyone getting involved and showing their team spirit! 🎉

Across the school, it has been lovely to see pupils building on their progress and demonstrating our values each day through their effort, behaviour and attitudes. Classrooms have been purposeful and full of learning.
