Ladies getting hands-on at a Ratchet & Ride workshop 💪

Whether it’s a 1:1 or one of our group sessions, you’ll be getting your hands dirty putting what you’ve learnt into practice - it’s one of the best ways to learn!

It also means you get to know your bike specifically, and can ask Kate questions about any quirks or things specific to your own bike.

What a FANTASTIC day running an off-roading motorbike maintenance workshop alongside Louise’s Ladies at MotoCamp Wales! 🏍️

We had 5 ladies worked on their own bikes, learning what maintenance checks to do before going out on the trail (checking and cleaning brake pads and calipers, chain adjustment, and more.)

We started off by getting to know our bikes better, checking for any leaks, and talking through general maintenance. We also covered how to fix things like mirrors and levers, which can break if the bike is dropped (which happens a bit more often off road!!)

It was so great to see the ladies getting stuck in, with so many questions being asked - brakes seemed to be a common theme with most of the ladies, so that’s where we ended up concentrating!

Our workshop calendar is open for spring bookings, folks! 🤩

Whether you want to learn the basics of motorcycle maintenance or focus on something specific with your bike, you can now book in for a 1:1 or 2:1 session with us in our Staffordshire workshop.

You can also book in for supervised workshop space – ideal if you’d like to do some work on your own bike but don’t currently have the tools, space, or confidence to do it alone.

We’re currently taking bookings from now until the end of April. Limited slots available, so nab your spot while you can!

🛠️ Ladies’ Day 2025 – cancelled (for now) 🛠️

A quick update from us. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we’ve unfortunately had to cancel this year’s Ladies’ Day, which was due to take place on Saturday 13th September.

If you’ve already bought a ticket, don’t worry: full refunds are on the way and will be processed shortly.

We’re really hoping to bring the event back even bigger and better in the future, and we’ll be sure to let you know when we do!

Last weekend’s happy customer: Steve 😄

Steve got stuck into checking tyre pressures, chain tension, and removing + cleaning brake pads – plus a bit of bonus tinkering on Kate’s new bike to finish up.

And of course, Aisha 🐾 was on hand to make sure everything was up to standard.

Kate’s picked up this beauty for some green laning and enduro training – looking forward taking her to the ABR Festival in a few weeks’ time 😌
