Building Works and Car Park Update

Firstly, thank you to all staff, parents and carers who have been car sharing, walking where possible and avoiding the car park by parking elsewhere. Your support and cooperation have been greatly appreciated and have helped us to manage the ongoing building work safely. I would encourage everyone to continue doing this wherever possible.
The building project is progressing well, and it is exciting to see the spaces being transformed from former college woodwork workshops into new classrooms for Two Rivers High School.

While this work continues, please use the designated drop-off and pick-up areas (see photo) and park in the spaces provided. We ask everyone to park safely, show respect to others and, most importantly, help us keep the site safe for all members of our community.
We have received a small number of concerns regarding unsafe parking and inappropriate behaviour in the car park. We want to address these concerns early and would appreciate everyone's support in ensuring that our site remains safe and welcoming for all.
Thank you for your continued cooperation and understanding.

Presenting to a room full of adults is daunting for anyone—let alone young students.
At the recent Restorative and Relational Pathway training, our student ambassadors did just that, and they completely smashed it! 🌟
They aren't just supporting and inspiring the next wave of ambassadors at Two Rivers High School; they are actively inspiring educators across the region to bring this initiative to their own schools.

Well done Jensen, Emma and Tom!

Update for Parents and Carers

Dear Parents and Carers,
Following our investigations, I am pleased to confirm that the power outage issues have now been resolved.

Our Site Team and IT Team are currently completing the final checks and outstanding tasks to ensure everything is ready for a full reopening. We are therefore looking forward to welcoming all staff and students back to school tomorrow.

I would like to apologise once again for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to all of our staff who have worked tirelessly to support the logistics, communication and planning required to minimise disruption.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back tomorrow.
Kind regards,

Important School Closure Announcement: Emergency Power Outage

Dear Parents, Carers, and Students,

Please be advised that the school will be closed today due to a total loss of electricity across the site.

Without power, key essential systems—including our fire alarms, security networks, hot water, and kitchen cooking facilities—are entirely inoperable. As the safety and well-being of our students and staff are our top priorities, we have taken the necessary decision to close the school for the day.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and short notice this causes families. We will keep you updated throughout the day via email and our official channels regarding repairs and tomorrow's opening status.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Warm regards,

Claire Milton

These students are part of a 'Future Ready' project and have had their first workplace experience of the year with thanks to GXO.
Here are our photos from GXO, showing our morning in the work place. We started with signing in, then we had a meeting. Afterwards we discussed H&S and were issued with PPE for our warehouse tour. We enjoyed our FLT and HGV cab experiences. Thanks GXO
