What a special day for our school leavers 🎓🍓❤️

Today, our parents joined us for a wonderful visit from Zoo 2 U, which the children absolutely loved, before we finished the day with our own little graduation ceremony to celebrate just how far they have all come.

Watching them receive their medals and certificates was such a proud and emotional moment. It feels like only yesterday some of them were first walking through our doors, and now they’re getting ready for their next big adventure at school 🥹

I feel incredibly lucky to have been a small part of their early years. We’ve watched them grow in confidence, build friendships, learn so much and become the funny, kind and wonderful little people they are today.

I’m going to miss every single one of them more than I can put into words! the cuddles, the laughter, the funny conversations and all the little moments that have made our days so special.

To all of our graduates, we wish you the biggest amount of luck as you start school. Keep being brave, keep being kind, keep being curious and most importantly, keep being YOU. We know you are all going to absolutely shine. 🌟

You may be leaving Strawberries, but you’ll always be part of our little family. 🍓❤️

The rain won’t stop us! 🌧️❤️

Today is all about celebrating our wonderful school leavers and giving them the special send off they deserve. 🥹🎓 We’ve got an extra special guest coming to join us, followed by our little leavers’ ceremony for all the parents to watch.

It’s going to be such a lovely, emotional afternoon celebrating how far they’ve come and all the amazing memories we’ve made together. 🍓❤️

We’ve had a busy morning welcoming some of our new starters for their settling-in sessions. 🥰

This afternoon, we decided to slow things down and plant some daffodils in the garden as a special way to remember the children who will be leaving us this September to start their next big adventure at school. 🌼🥲

It’ll be so lovely to watch them bloom each year and think of all the little ones who have grown, learnt and made so many memories with us before heading off to school. 💛

A productive day behind the scenes at Strawberries Childcare 🍓

Today I’ve been busy organising our resource shed, sorting everything into different categories so that our resources are easy to access and can be used to support the different topics and areas of learning within the EYFS curriculum. 📚🎨🧩

We’ve also had a lovely delivery of brand-new sleep mats, cellular blankets and travel cots, helping us make sure our sleep provision continues to be safe, comfortable and in line with the updated safer sleep guidance coming into place from September. 💤

The resource shed is looking AMAZING now everything has its place, and I already know it’s going to make planning our activities and topics so much easier!

Lots of little improvements happening behind the scenes ready for another exciting year of learning, exploring and growing together. 🍓

Some goodbyes are a little harder than others… 🥹❤️

Today was the last time our school leavers will see the lovely Zoe and her childminding children before they start their exciting new adventure in September. With our family holiday followed by Zoe’s holiday, this was our chance to say our goodbyes.

For some of these children, Zoe has been part of their lives since they were tiny babies. We’ve been lucky enough to meet up with her and her wonderful children almost every single day, creating friendships, memories and so many special moments together.

Watching them share their hugs today was so bittersweet. It was a reminder of just how important the relationships we build are, not only with the children but with the amazing people who become such a big part of their childhood too.

Thank you, Zoe, for being such a special part of their journey. We know they’ll treasure these memories as they take their next big step into school. 💛

Wishing all of our school leavers the very best for this exciting new chapter – we are all so incredibly proud of you! 🌟🎒
