Glenmorangie Tain Highland Gathering is fast approaching, Sunday 9th August will be here before we know it and we look forward to seeing you all.

Unfortunately some of our trophies are missing. This is a small plea to previous prize winners to PLEASE return any cup, shield, or trophy you may have won!

🥃Tain Highland Gathering 2026 is almost here, and we're already excited!🥃

We are delighted to have local farmer, Mr John Scott, as this years Chieftain. John is a true pillar of the farming community, and is not only recognised for his outstanding achievements within the world of agriculture, but also as a friendly, familiar face to many around the area.

He will lead the procession, alongside past Chieftains, from Tain high street at 11am, down to the field! For a day full of fun, competition, and plenty of Glenmorangie whisky.

There's still time to stop by Forbes Jewellers to collect a program and some all important raffle tickets! (With some fantastic prizes up for grabs).

We are devastated by the sudden loss of Fiona Sutherland, our Secretary and dear friend. Fiona was a pivotal part of the Tain Highland Gathering and played a key role in the revival of the games in 1993 alongside Murray Macleod.

Our thoughts are with Robert, as well as all of her family and friends. Fiona will be sorely missed by us all. 💔
