🎶 Twinwood 2026! 🎶

I’m slowly coming down from my euphoric cloud that was Twinwood 2026 and trying to regain my energy levels!
We all had an absolute blast! 😉

What is there to say about Twinwood other than it is, by far, the best festival of the whole year. It truly is the highlight of my year and the event I look forward to the most. 😍
Needless to say we’re all booked for next year! I’m excited already 🤣

After the blisteringly hot heat waves of the Summer of course we would get the rain ☔️ And did it rain! 🌧️ It rained with biblical proportions. But we just laughed in the face of the rain 💪 and it just made this year’s festival even more memorable. 🌧️

We met some of our wonderful followers of TJ’s. It was great to see each and everyone of you. Thank you all for taking the time to come and chat (and dance) with us 😍🕺💃

We also met up with other jive clubs that we’ve chatted to over the year online. Lovely to finally chat in person 💃

A big shout out to the whole of the Twinwood Team. Unless you organise events yourself you have no idea of the enormity of the gargantuan task of turning a field into a festival! Thank you so much for all your hard work getting Twinwood ready for us again this year. 🎏

There are so many great acts to choose from at Twinwood and everyone’s experience is so different. It’s such a vast mixing pot of styles, eras and live music 🎶 The atmosphere in the Main Arena is just sheer joy 🎶

Thank you to DJ Gazza Forge who kept us dancing till 1am every night with some stonking music in the Soul Shack and DJ Vintage Flyer for the after party on Monday night 🎶

Thanks to my TJ’s Crew who came along this year, some of them Twinwood Virgins, we always have the best time when we’re together 🤗

Also a big thank you to my great camp mates, Camp de Ville, I couldn’t wish for nicer ‘neighbours!’ ⛺️

A lastly, a special thanks to The Robbo, my partner in crime. She also loves a shenanigan and that’s a definite prerequisite of being part of TJ’s 😉

There’s some people that just make you grin from ear to ear when you dance with them and it was so nice to meet Andy and have a dance!

I had to share this from Mama D’s Rock n Roll.

The ones who pop up to explain that strollers are “line dancing cowboys”, ask “what’s happening to the scene?”, and blame the fluffies for apparently bringing rock ’n’ roll civilisation to its knees. 😂

Please, keep going.

Every grumble, correction and dramatic declaration helps our posts reach more people.
