We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Manager to lead and manage our children's home - Darwin House, near Tadley, Hampshire.

The core task of this senior management post will be to ensure excellent standards of care and therapeutic services are maintained. The successful candidate will ensure that the environment and all services provided comply with statutory regulations, governance and quality standards.

The post holder will undertake the Registered Manager responsibilities with Ofsted and provide strategic leadership ensuring a process of continuous improvement. Liaising with outside agencies and stake holders you will demonstrate professionalism and act as a role model for staff.

As a Residential Support Worker you will ensure that the children and young people in your care are safe, healthy and able to make a positive contribution, realising their full potential through enjoyment, achievement and economic well being.

This is a 52 week post, working 42.75 hours per week. You will be based at The Gatehouse Children’s home but will also spend time in school supporting during the academic day.

The successful candidate must be prepared to work on a shift system including early, late and weekend shifts.

- Highly developed organisational skills
- Effective communication skills
Previous experience in a special needs environment/school would be desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

We are seeking a suitably qualified and registered Speech and Language Therapist with a passionate and informed interest in Autism (ASC) and co conditions to join our team here in Frome. Working across both North Hill House School and Farleigh FE College, the successful applicant will have tangible experience supporting and facilitating 1:1 and group therapy to young people between the ages of 6 – 25 yrs.

A sound knowledge of evidence based support within the field of ASC is required, ELKLAN training is desirable but not essential. The applicant will have suitable experience supporting language and developmental delays, skilled in facilitating standardised assessments, scoring, analysis and creating bespoke programmes. The applicant will be proactive in disseminating best ways of working to the wider support team and will be confident to deliver onsite profession specific training to colleagues as and when required.
