I can’t believe I didn’t update you on our potatoes 🥔

The children enjoyed picking and cleaning the potatoes 🥔

They maybe small but were made into yummy mashed potato

We’ve had lots of lovely Autumn walks over the last few weeks 🍂

Found lots of conkers 🌰
Lots of different coloured leaves 🍁
Some acorns and loads of different sized sticks 🪵

Does anybody know what this is that we found on our walk home from school?

Some of the children’s comments/guesses:

A spider with a acorn on its back.

A snail spider

A big fat scary spider thing and Ewww!!

🧊 Ice play 🧊

Bring back the sun, this was a good activity to keep cool in the warmer days, the children used the pipettes to squeeze water to ‘rescue’ the hidden toys!
Salt is also good to use to melt the ice.
